Re: Aaron Craft...

Full of talent? We need scorers. We need shooters. We need guys who can create and make their own shot. We need more offensive talent. We're not nearly as talented as we need to be. We need some more bigs who can score with their back to the basket and who can rebound and be a major presence on both ends. Our team is not even Elite 8 worthy.

He'll need to pick up offensively and cut down his turnovers if we are going to make a deep run. I love the intangibles that he brings and his leadership but we need him to score more and shoot a higher percentage and turn the ball over less and to shut down the opponent's poing guard.
he is simply not as good running the show on a team with so many creators as he is with either a bonified big man or a gun to feed.  he is spending more time without the ball or without knowing where shots are going to be comming from and when. The bucks are full of talent but no one has the designed and clearly defined rolls that they have had in the past two seasons and that effects a point guard. they can win this was but its not even as fun to watch

agreed not elite 8 worthy but deifinatly elite 8 capable.  we only have who we have , cant change that so the best hope is for the ones we have to becoem a little more cohesive and have thier roles a little more clearly defined.

Dt can score anway anyhow he likes but we have no one who can consistantly shoot from the perimeter. creator may not be the best word but we have guys that need to work for a basket where as lighty and deebs needed only to get to a spot and be fed the ball. ditto with the big fella the last few years. that simplifies an offense and lends a certain amount of integrity to the PG's game.

Luckily, this year, no team is Elite 8 worthy, so I like our chances.

I imagine EVERY PG looks better when they have a bonafied big man or a gun to feed.
