He clearly used his front leg as a weapon when sliding in front of Ed Reed. Wow if I was ever looking for a reason to hate Tom Brady there it is he could have seriously hurt a 'defenseless defender'. NFL needs to look at that and should fine pansy boy $50,000. Can't let QB's take advantage of their protection and cheap shot defenders as they're pulling up. What a douche I hope somebody knocks him out of this game.

Brady is my least favorite player in the NFL.  He needs an a** beating if you ask me.  He is one of the most boring QB's to watch in the league, i can't stand looking at his face or hearing his annoying voice, and he played for scUM.  SCREW Tom douche Brady.  I can't wait till he falls off the top of the food chain and reitres hopefully as a backup.

But I agree Brady should get fined for trying to spike a guy. I realize he was wearing tennis shoes but still he could have messed up Reeds knee there and he was being very intentional with the high foot.

That did piss me off the refs of course acted like they didnt see/care or know what to do.

Reaction by Brady but stupid on his part, much more likely to get his leg broke or hurt his knee with that move. Fetal position is a better option.

In all fairness, Ridley lowered his helmet  bracing for impact. Hard for a defender to stop movement an adjust once the act is in motion. At that point Ridley wasn't defenseless.

It is all in the definition of a defenseless player. A running back carrying the ball is not considered defenseless, just as a receiver who is running with the ball after the catch is also not considered defenseless.
