I've only seen a few minutes of the game. Has Posey played for the Texans at all?

Houston is better. They'll win. With Katie Blackburn running the team, at the least the Bengals are finally putting a decent team on the field, but the Super Bowl is still a distant dream.

I like Dalton, but he's a tweener. Better than average, but I'm not sure he's good enough to take the Bengals to their ceiling.

I'll edit this if he leads him to a TD on this drive.

I said this last year. He's Chad Pennington.

Bengals offense just sucks too bad. Dalton is average and besides Green they have no receivers. Another disappointing postseason for a Cincinnati team.....sigh.....

BiD... exactly how I see it.  he has too many brainfarts, especially in key situations in games against good teams.  He will have great games, but too many clunkers to be a great QB.

I love Browns and Bengals... all Ohio teams... hate the Cincy vs Cleveland hate stuff.

Missed Green twice on what could have been game winning TD's. Green is a stud. One of the most gifted WR in the NFL. He is possibly making Dalton look better than he is along with the Cincy D and running game with the law firm BJGE.

Would agree Dalton is overrated, he has a weak arm. he doesn't make too many mistakes though, and that's key.  Dalton however was getting pressured too much so upgrading the Oline is in order

Oh yeah AJ Green is great.

Dalton can make all the throws he just needs to settle down in the pocket. There could be a little better protection for him though.

What an idiotic statement. The Bengals made the playoffs for the third time in four years, have built its team through the draft and have a young roster, and were a missed Andy Dalton to a wide open AJ Green fourth-quarter pass in the end zone away from winning on the road in Houston.

Cincinnati won 7 of its last 8 games including going into Pittsburgh and winning to make the playoffs. 20 teams did not make the playoffs but the Bengals were not one of them. They need a strong safety, at least one other receiver, an upgrade at center, and, in my opinion, a better middle linebacker than the non-instinctive Ray Maualauga. Boling and Zeitler are two young guards who will improve. The Bengals got nothing out of three of their top four picks this year: injured cornerback Dre' Kirkpatrick, defensive tackles Devon Still and Brandon Thompson (both of whom essentially took redshirts) and Muhammed Sanu, who broke his foot after starting to become a major redzone target.

Re: Bengals vs Texans

Something needs to change if you want to get out of the first round of the playoffs. I dont know what the answer is, I dont get paid to make those decisions. I have always been a Dalton fan, but these past couple of weeks he just keeps looking worse. Today I was calling for a replacement for Dalton...not sure if thats the case or if I even want that thinking back. Fire Marvin? This is as far as he has ever gotten in the 10 or so years he has been there...this is his peak and it doesnt look like he can lead his team past the wild card game.

Injures are part of the game and everyone has them going into the postseason, no matter which way you slice it they still lost in the first round and still haven't won a playoff game under Marvin Lewis.

Injuries? I didnt say the Bengals lost a playoff game because of injuries. The Bengals were pretty healthy all season; certainly better than several teams including Pittsburgh. The Bengals have a young core of players who should improve and they have a very high second round pick (from Oakland) as a bonus from the Carson Palmer trade to go along with the redshirt players as well as Dontay Moch, a highly regarded draft pick in 2011 who hasn't seen the field yet.
