Johnny Football/Bridgewater/Mariotta ARE NOT BETTER than Braxton
It really upsets me that Braxton didnt get his chance to shine this bowl season.
I watched Bridgewater play well against a dead Florida team. I saw Mariotta play average vs. an above average Kansas State team.
Johnny Football was great tonight!! But did you see how he was barely touched out there? He could sit in the pocket all day! Those long runs would have been touchdowns if it were Braxton!
He has two high 1st round LT's and more experienced WR group than Braxton.
As a talent Braxton is superior than those guys.

Exactly!!! They all have better playmakers around them too. Until Hyde emerged late....it was Braxton or bust. Maker84 wrote: heck no they're not! Braxton has a stronger arm and a better runner than all of them

Athletic measurables should gauge well in Braxton's favor. But the other 3 have great intangibles and decision making. Something for Braxton to strive for in his development and becoming an all-around QB, but he isn't there yet IMO.

Re: Johnny Football/Bridgewater/Mariotta ARE NOT BETTER than
I think all the QBs you mentioned are currently more polished than Miller, and Manziel is a better overall player and Bridgewater is currently one of the better passers in the nation, but Miller has the highest ceiling among QBs in the nation.
No shame in saying that Miller might not be as good as some of these guys. Hard to remember so many underclassmen QBs that are so great already.

Especially with his running. He was dancing instead of making the quick cuts that he was making early in the year. The potential to be great all the time is there for sure.

I don't see how anyone could say otherwise at this point. I don't see a CFB player at the AB spot playing better this year. macdadbama wrote: Sorry, manziel is better.

One thing Braxton needs to learn how to do is scramble and buy time in the pocket more. He gets sacked too easily under pressure

RE: Johnny Football/Bridgewater/Mariotta ARE NOT BETTER than Bra
If you guys want to see something funny, head over to the Florida Recruiting boards. They brought back an old thread comparing Bridgewater, Miller, and Driskel from 2010. The Florida fans LOVED Driskel then and said that Miller was BY FAR the worst player of the three. LINK

What game did you watch tonight? I agree TAMU's OL is awesome, but Manziel put some ankle breaking moves on the OU secondary. ecnirp wrote: It really upsets me that Braxton didnt get his chance to shine this bowl season.

Well UF did tell Bridgewater they wanted him only at WR because Driscell was their guy.....WHIFF

He just hit a wall towards the end of the year after being on pace for almost 1500 rushing yards. The play calling was also a bit mystifying against some teams as well. I think that next year he will show more decisiveness and awareness and that will help him to scramble and have better pocket presence.

The other 2 are MUCH better at throwing the ball. IMO ND's QB is a better passer than Miller.

If you really think that Braxton is a better player than Manziel right now, then you truly are a homer. --------------------------------------------- --- ecnirp wrote:
