Nope. Georgia Tech will beat Clemson in the second game in a row at Clemson. Book it.
Ohio State rolls Oregon. Again.

OSU may be there if Roby is back.

Stanford has four players on their stellar defense who have the option of returning; if they all do, I'll go waaayyy out on a limb and predict they'll play Ohio State for all the marbles next year.

1. it's not Hash Bash time 2.you'll finish 7-6 or 8-5 like usual MichiganMan68 wrote: You Buckeye fans sure know how to dream about an impossible scenario. First, OSU is going to lose in Ann Arbor(which means that you will have at least one loss and am not going to beat out an SEC school for the national title game). Second, Clemson is going to lose to Georgia.

Let's not rule out a return appearance by Alabama. They have Va Tech in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, and they go to Texas A&M, but other than that, their schedule seems quite manageable, with LSU at home. And I believe they have a bunch of kids coming back, though I don't know the specifics.

LSU would be preseason number 1 if their good juniors stayed but it looks like their junior class is going to be decimated by the draft. About 6 will go pro early. I suspect OSU and then Florida will be preseason 1 and 3. After that Oregon, ND and Bama. On offense, we lose Lacey to the draft and 3 O linemen and the TE. Defense is where we return 2 dbs because I am sure Millner goes early. Basically al lbs back except Johnson. We lose a couple of DL. We are about preseason number 5 is my best guess.

Of course, I'm no expert. O. No way on Georgia. Lose your whole defense. And you guys choke a big game every year. So does Clemson.

Re: Next Year's National Title Game: Ohio State vs. Clemson
Do not sleep on Stanford, they have had 3 stellar recruiting classes in a row, and they can pound the ball on anyone, and have a heck of a defense. They keep adding speed and athletes lately, plus their new QB is now solid and Barry Sander Jr. should add some real speed to that offense next year. USC is fading and Oregon is going to lose Kelly, and the NCAA has summoneds the Ducks to face the music soon for those streets agents and Kelly. ND goes to Stanford as well.

Re: Next Year's National Title Game: Ohio State vs. Clemson
big i dont see it with florida.
they have no qb and are losing a lot on defense to.
we will have a better picture after the 15th--the deadline for declaring--and then of course spring practice.
right now im seeing a lot of GOOD teams in the sec next year but not sure about any great ones.
of course a couple will step up like always but right now its hard to say who. lots of questions right now.

Re: Next Year's National Title Game: Ohio State vs. Clemson
LSU, even with that talent coming back if it scorned the NFL #1, not so sure. QB Lerch Mettenberger is a sitting duck in the pocket. Clemson showed how to go after that statue and a good blue print. Force LSU and get front push, while also some key blitzes and make him move, he is done, and so is LSU, another sack or bad pass. LSU got 10 gift points from Clemson on turnovers, or that game could have been an easy and ugly double digit win for Clemson. TCU gets that starting QB back from the beginning of the season, and they are young and talented, they can beat LSU week one with their defensive speed and Patterson game planning to go after a statue QB.

Re: Next Year's National Title Game: Ohio State vs. Clemson
LSU & Florida both have to do something about their offenses; there's no way the Tigers can be the pre-season #1 with an offense that anemic, and especially with an inconsistent QB.
Stanford will have the best O-Line in the nation next year as they arguably did in 2010 & 2011 alongside Wisconsin, and I do like their chances even with a rugged home schedule including Oregon, UCLA, Washington & ND.
Clemson remains the one team I can't figure out, but I'll have to pass on them simply because figuring out prospects for their defense in 2013 will give anybody a migraine.
Oregon will be loaded and tough with or without Chip Kelly, and Ohio St. will be fine assuming they can rebuild their front seven, which would appear to be a no-brainer with Meyer in charge.

Re: Next Year's National Title Game: Ohio State vs. Clemson
Clemson is tough to figure, indeed. They lose when they should win and vice versa. The "usual suspects" will be in the fore, but this past season, Notre Dame was not on many short lists for the NC game. (USC was.) We fairly often see some team that starts preseason 15th or so make it to the NC game, usually after some close calls that fell their way. The preseason top 3 nearly always end up in the top ten, but USC this season really feel hard. Georgia will end up ahead of its preseason rank, which I do not recall, now.

Re: Next Year's National Title Game: Ohio State vs. Clemson
USC misses the Ducks & the Huskies the next two years, gets Stanford & UCLA at home, & travels to South Bend next year.
8-4 is doable, but I wouldn't bet a dime on it.

Arkansas and Miss State from the other division. Arkansas will still be in some turmoil I'd guess. Tennessee will be mediocre one would presume (or worse). They get Florida and Clemson at home (which is an advantage for them) and UGA in Athens. UNC won't be much of a threat, but at least they play two BCS level teams (ACC).

Right now, not sure why A&M doesnt make it. Manzel made Oklahoma look stupid. I'm guessing he only gets better.

I hope it's us and any team from the SEC. Preferable Florida, LSU, or Georgia. Not Alabama cuz i'd love to see them lose a few games next season. We need redemption!!
