Sorry. Losing to a Mountain West team in the Rose Bowl is embarrassing. not really. at least TCU fans were humble and not complete asses like I am sure the Florida and LSU fans were when they violating the buckeyes. i never felt like TCU was a crap team. if you want to think that b/c they were a mountain west team, that they sucked, that is fine, and frankly typical for much of your fanbase. arrogant idiots that can't see good football unless it is a name program. pretty short sited, imo. Is it a requirement that baaadger fans are hypocrites or just a coincidence? You guys give credit to no one and have among the lowest football IQ's in the conference. Clean up your own board before you come over here and whine about being treated like you treat others. Talk all the crap you want about OSU and it just proves how ignorant you are, we are the only team in the B10 to win a NC in recent memory and have won as many BCS games as the rest of the conference combined. Come back and run your lips when another team in the conference wins a game that anyone cares about. Congrats on your 6th place finish in the B10 this year and default B10 championship.

TCU is in the state of Texas, FYI. They have access to recruits that would clarify them as a B12 team. Obviously they made the switch this year, but those old TCU teams had B12 talent superior to the majority of teams already in the B12 to start with. --------------------------------------------- --- va1bucksfan1 wrote: Wisconsinfan71 wrote: B12????? Couple things: 1) who is running their mouth? A few UW fans came on here to clarify how TCU finished number 2 in the land and wasn't as embarrassing as everyone here made it to be. 2) I haven't seen anyone bad mouthing osu on this thread. This thread was created to show a t-shirt someone made that had back2back2back loses on it. Clearly not a UW production. 3) UW is definitely in the top 3 in b1g teams football IQ level. I'm not being arrogant when I say this either. 4) not trying to be assertive, I respect osu, but am just confused with the placement of this comment that's all. --------------------------------------------- --- OriginalDCBuck wrote: mbadger wrote: va1bucksfan1 wrote: mbadger wrote:

6 wins.... Ohio State has beat Texas A&M, ND, Oregon, Kansas State, Miami, and Arkansas in BCS bowls. They have lost to Texas, LSU, and Florida. I don't care if we vacated the 2011 Sugar. The NCAA cleared those guys to play and our stupid AD decided to vacate the game anyway. The NCAA would not have forced OSU to vacate that game. Gene Smith is a moron. --------------------------------------------- --- BuckeyeCMO wrote: buckeyemark wrote: Ohio State lost to Florida, LSU, and Texas in back to back to back BCS bowl games. However, losing to TCU with Andy Dalton, Oregon, and Stanford is probably no more embarrassing. Ohio State STILL has a winning BCS bowl record. Haters like to focus on the three straight losses, not the 5 wins! ---------------------------------------------

Re: SIAP...Wisconsin 2013 Rose Bowl T Shirt
1. The Wisconsin fan I quoted was talking smack about OSU losing in the NC game, considering that we are the only team in the conference to play in multiple games and actually win one, that is cheap talk. 2. See #1 3. I was talking about Wisconsin fans, not Wisconsin players. The reality is that a lot more OSU fans actually played organized football and football is played at a much higher level in terms of high school and college in the state of Ohio than it is in Wisconsin. The point of my post is that Wisconsin fans on average show as much arrogance towards OSU as we do towards Wisconsin, the difference is we have a lot more to show for it historically and head to head. I read your board all the time and for Wisconsin fans to come to this board and whine about not getting respect or to call us arrogant is nothing but hypocrisy when you look at what your posters say about OSU. you have to earn respect and since wisconsin is not a traditional power they need to earn it now. yes, since BA took over wisconsin they are now a solid program, but, not at the top level. to be at that level they need to be consistant winners (which they are doing with three titles) and win big games. they play zero big non conference games so the bowl games are the measuring stick and not the greater Tampa school district game, bcs games. in those they have fallen short.

All 3 losses are by wisconsin. Cool. Then you guys shouldn't have sucked last year and we would've been the ones with Va Tech handed on a silver platter. That's meaningless without perspective. Obviously this run has been frustrating as hell, but at the end of the day all 3 games were down to the wire as a slight or moderate underdog, and i've walked away pissed at the outcome but proud of the team.

Um, its not a 'battle cry', it's reality. Theres a difference between your team putting a poor effort out there, getting embarrased, and losing a close, hard fought game.
Frankly, I may have preferred a bigger loss this last time. 3rd loss like this is cruel and unusual punishment.

a loss is still a loss. interesting how every game you lost, except nebraska, was the same pattern. low scoring, muster late comeback TD. I wonder if the teams that beat wisconsin were not opening up their offense because wisconsin was one dimensional and they realized the only way to lose is a TO on offense.

Pretty sure the loss to UF in the NCG and the loss to UT in the Fiesta Bowl were the same in the terms of sucking. UF blasted us in the mouth and we were 1 Anderson Russel missed tackle away from beating Texas, neither loss hurt more though. A loss is a loss. Now, if you wanna talk about the difference between losing th Fiesta Bowl and the NCG, thats worth discussing. Not sure I could explain that to you though, something you kinda have to experience to understand.
