Ohio State lost to Florida, LSU, and Texas in back to back to back BCS bowl games. Different bowl games of course.

However, losing to TCU with Andy Dalton, Oregon, and Stanford is probably no more embarrassing.

no kidding.  final ranking.  tcu #2.  oregon.  #2.  stanford-most likely top 5.  sucks to lose rose bowls but no embarassing losses either.  we have also won three of them in the last twenty.  fire away.

not really.  at least TCU fans were humble and not complete asses like I am sure the Florida and LSU fans were when they violating the buckeyes.  i never felt like TCU was a crap team.  if you want to think that b/c they were a mountain west team, that they sucked, that is fine, and frankly typical for much of your fanbase.  arrogant idiots that can't see good football unless it is a name program.   pretty short sited, imo.

i believe Oregon ended up number 4, but, more to the point for wisky is perception. they have not played a meaningful non conference game since last century so these are there make or break games. they lost all three of the marquee non con games and that is what people will remember. their game against alabama cannot some soon enough.

On another board an OSU fan gave the SEC credit for beating 7-7 Georgia Tech, while saying that Michigan State beat a "down" Boise State team (11-2).

With the parity of college football today a team can be good without being in the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, or Pac 12.

Ohio State STILL has a winning BCS bowl record. Haters like to focus on the three straight losses, not the 5 wins!

Point is OSU didn't make a tshirt about going to three straight losses.

Wisconsin is a nice, second tier program in the Big Ten. I wish some of the other second tier programs like Minnesota and Illinois would pick their games up.


Wisconsin finished 3rd in their own division, so making the game against Stanford competitive was a feat.

They do not have the talent to really compete nationally very often, last year was probably their best chance with Wilson/Ball and company.
