outside of Pur-don't the B1G has looked much better than expected this bowl season.

Man, I am SO happy for NW. You just gotta love it. Fitz is clearly choked up & emotional, & I don't blame him.

Congratulations, Northwestern and especially to Pat Fitzgerald!   Great job!  I am so happy for this team.  Next to my Buckeyes, I have always liked them, and really respect Coach Fitzgerald.

Of course ESPN makes it all about the SEC not winning this game instead of giving Northwestern the credit they deserve.

I'm not normally a "root for the B10" guy, but huge congrats to PF and the wildcats!  classy postgame interview, nice win for NW and the B10.

$EC $EC $EC. More proof that the $ec is severely overrated year in and year out. How osu is not #1 in the AP poll is one of the biggest travesties in college football.

A good win for the cats. Thats a long time to go in between bowl wins. Fitz seems like a good guy and a good fit for that program. A 10 win season.

What I was getting at is the "keep an eye on that". Spread teams often run a lot of plays and can gas a defense in the 4th quarter. I posted that just after the begining of 3rd quarter. NW so far has run 80 plays - more than average I belive. Have not seen obvious impact but thought it was worth taking note of.

Thanks for that. It may have been obvious to others, but I haven't watched NW as much as in previous years since OSU didn't play them.  Wasn't sure if they were way off average that point.  Great win by the cats.  Hopefully 10 wins becomes more of the norm for that program.
