Northwestern vs Mississippi State

This is a statement game for NU and the B1G. MSU beat all their cupcakes and lost all their big games. Northwestern has the chance to go 2-0 vs the SEC.

I like NW, and thought they would win this game, but they may need to get more pressure on the QB. The two INTs are great for them, but that trend might reverse. A 3 and out here would be good.

we have 3 games vs Big 12, 3 games vs SEC, and 1 game vs Pac 12
if we go 3-4 i'll take that as a win
So that leaves us needing either Michigan, Nebraska, or Wisconsin to win to get to 3-4

After watching LSU last night and so far MSU today, the SEC definitely leads in number of DBs that jaw like they've done something after making a tackle 20 yards down field.

They are all statement games or at least remove the SEC drum beat which is a removal of a statement. Funny when SEC schools lose a bowl game its ok...they weren't that good anyway and bla bla bla. But when they win. they stand on the mountain top pounding their chest. - well that's my perception anyway.

Man, even these announcers are apparently not aware the B1G team is winning. More talk of SEC greatness.

And, as someone posted above, these SEC players jsut keep shooting their mouths off... you keep telling them how great they are, and then beat them on a play, they have to talk to make up for it. LSU was jawing all game long after every play, and Clemson out-gained them by over 2-1.... I don't get it.

They'll just go ahead and trot out five year old examples like Ohio St.'s loss to LSU in 2007. |
