LSU ain't going anywhere in the SEC West the next two years with Mettenberger with those defenses, he is a setting stiff duck in the pocket if they cannot run the ball. Reminds you Mallett, a tall target to sack if you got edge pressure rushers and good blitz packages. LSU is still winning, I think miles and LSU came out passing to losen up the def. and wear down the front four. You watch in the second half, LSU will commence to run the ball down their throat, I could be wrong.. To be honest, I think the LSU D, is taking a huge step back over the year. they are super fast but have little size anymore to stop power running attacks, IMO. If clemson would stick with the run they could do some damage... JMO

Miles actually has plan, his plan was to come out and throw the ball, losen up the clemson D, because they are all geared for the run... SO he has passed all first half, and guess what clemson's halftime adjustments were on the passing game.. Now, LSU runs the ball after the first half... JMO

RE: Chick-Fil-A: LSU/Clemson
How do you loosen up a defense that is light in the britches? You pound the hell out of them and make them quit. You don't play into their hands and dial up stupid pass plays with an average QB to play into a fast Clemson Dline. FSU stopped being cute and pounded Clemson into submission in the 2nd half of their game. Clemson also has depth problems. You got to punch them in the mouth not finesse them down the field. Stupid gameplan where they are very fortunate to be winning right now. 34011 wrote: GatorNation4Lyfe wrote: Wow, what do you know, LSU ran the ball and they get a TD. Someone tell Deshawn Watson that he will get hit less if he comes here. Clemson has no OL.

RE: Chick-Fil-A: LSU/Clemson
Anybody else LOVE the LSU commercial with great quotes about the university... Only to see that the quote is attributed in fine detail to some random person from some random city and not the US News, Princeton Review, etc.
Examples (not actual quotes):
"Elite Educational Experience" - Nancy, Shreveport, LA
"Stunning and Beautiful Campus" - Sam, Austin, Texas
"Best University in the U S of A" - Billy Bob, Tuscaloosa, AL

I don't know what speech Clemson gives those dudes but they certainly can pull in athletes. I'm still shaking my head Sammy Watkins wound up there instead of UF. otterbeinbuckeye wrote: Someone tell Deshawn Watson that he will get hit less if he comes here. Clemson has no OL.

The deep pass will be there for LSU - it was there earlier just over thrown. They'll go back to it.

Lol at these announcers petitioning for ridiculous penalties to help LSU.
Targeting? they hit back of shoulder to back of shoulder? Launching? the guy had his feet on the ground.

They need to keep pounding the rock and not try the quick strike. Clemson can't stop them. LSU is stopping themselves by being too cute. nchawk01 wrote: The deep pass will be there for LSU - it was there earlier just over thrown. They'll go back to it.

Clemson hasnt had a 4star oline commit since 2009. None in the 2013 class
If Watson goes there hes going to get drilled against big boy teams
