there is no way his family would sign off on letting him be an NFL coach. the hours are longer and much more intense.

I agree that UM is not going anywhere, but the hours spent as a college head coach is MUCH more time intensive than that of an NFL.
College harder? lol...lol. What a joke! That poster must be a Badger fan. Those fans are typically pretty stupid.

That article says a bunch of losers spent 22 hours a day in the office (Reid, Saban, Edwards) and the winner (Cowher) made time for his family.

Maybe that's why these coaches are tossing their red flags all around racking up penalties and making nonsensical on field decisions. They lack the sleep to make the right decisions.

Look man, I'm just saying, NFL coaches work more hours than college ones....you can make all kinds of BS, but facts are facts.....it also showed Spurrier not spending alot of time on the pro game, and he didnt do so well.....so....believe what you want, but college coaches dont spend as much time as NFL coaches do on the job.

Hey, mister reading comprehension, where did I ever say HARDER? i said more time consuming. There is no rest in recruiting. Talk to coaches who have done both. They will tell you its more of a year 'round gig than an NFL HC job. Recruiting is extremely time consuming.

I can't imagine Meyer ever being considered for an NFL HC position.

Look man NFL hours are much longer, there is no NCAA saying how much time you can spend with players, there are no academics to worry about, it's all on you......and if you dont perform, they will fire you in seconds....why anyone would go from a plumb college job to the NFL is insane in my book....much more work, marginally better pay and no job security whatsoever

You are asking one of the worst serial tsun trolls why an Ohio State coach wouldn't be considered for an NFL job.

Arguing that a proposition is true because belief in it has good consequences, or that it is false because belief in it has bad consequences is often an irrelevancy.

You'll see Saban on the Browns sideline before Meyer.

Re: Meyer to Cleveland?

That would be a downgrade.... He's already the biggest face in Ohio. Why would he go coach a shitty organization like the Browns? We will see an nc at ohio state long before Cleveland will see a Super Bowl .

Actually what I heard is that Hoke is going to take the Brown's job and Mike Leach is coming to bring his "basketball on grass" offense to Ann Arbor.

Nope, ND was always his much lower #2 choice.  He had a chance to go ND, refused it.
I didn't say he would...but, if you woke up tomorrow and read that Meyer had left where's the fist place that would come to mind.

No right answer just curious...I would assume it was ND because it's the only other place I've heard him talk about being a dream job.

What would be the first place that come to mind for you...or anybody else.
So he'd leave OSU to go to a place he's already turned down? Nice logic.
