UGA will win as long as they commit to the run with Gurley and Marshall.
Nebraska is solid against the pass. Very solid. If Richt tries to turn it into an NFL audition for Murray, then Nebraska could win. imo

SEC is the strongest Conference
Will win all their bowl games by at least 14pts against inferior competition

Re: B1G Bowl Schedule is Going to be a Blood Bath
Minny won 2 b10 games (Illinois and Purdue). Texas Tech was 4-4 in conf in the b12. Minny losing a heartbreaker to Texas Tech in Texas is hardly a slam on the b10. All b10 bowl matchups are skewed as 2 of the top 3 teams aren't bowling. Didn't read this whole thread but not sure this dilemma has been pointed out.

SOme have pointed it out, but some just want to hate on how bad the B10 is. I know it is a soemwhat down year for the conference... lot of first year coaches, supsensions, etc. Plus, the two biggest OOC games involved Michigan, who did no one any favors. If the major media (ESPN especially) would take their noses out of the SEC's rectal cavity and point out those amazing mid-season cupcakes and struggles by the Bamas and LSUs of the world instead of the B10's early season struggles, folks might not be so blind in their dismissal of the B10. The fact Minne SHOULD have won against TT shows the conference is not as weak as some point out. personally, as a proud northerner, I am tired of hearing how the B10 is lacking SEC speed and SEC coaching. The conference is just as good. You take the top 11 teams from teh SEC and B10 this year line them up on neutral fields, I bet the B10 can win 5-6 games, even with the slower players and coaches. Oh well, some hate, even being a part of the conference fanbase.

Oh well, some hate, even being a part of the conference fanbase. I have simply never understood the conference pride thing. When I listen to idiots chant SEC rather than chanting for their own team, I realize more and more what these people are about. You don't understand conference pride, but you realize what they're about? It's pride. Pride int he gorup you belong. Just like I am proud to be an Ohioan or an American. OSU is in the Big10 conference, it has been for decades. When OSU wins a title... it is a CONFERENCE title. When folks say OSU plays a weak schedule because the conference is weak, it belittles them all. I root for OSU and thus I root for its conference as well, it is OSU's conference. To take OSU out of the conference, which some small-minded numbskulls wish for because they don't get it, would be stupidity. So, when folks use the conference to belittle OSU, I defend the conference. Perhaps it is different when Kentucky football fans take pride in the SEC because they can't take pride in their team itself, but I am an OSU fan and want OSu to be the best team in the best conference. Just as I live in Ohio and think it is the best state in the country. I don't dislike the other states... well, outside a couple southern states that refuse to accept the Civil War is over and such... but I love Ohio. It is my state. I love OSU, it is my school. I love the B10 because it is MY conference. If that is not understandable to you, fine. Free to be whatever... But to lump folks as idiots because they have pride in something outside their ignorance, is, well, kind of idiotic itself. Again, Why is OSU so great, compared to say a WVU, a BGSU or Miami, Oh... it is because it wins in the B10 on the national stage, not the Big East or MAC. If OSU were in the MAC all these years, it would not be the oSU you know and love, would it???

Agreed; Ohio St, is easily among the top 6 or 7 CFB programs of the past 50 years.

My list would include: Notre Dame Michigan Nebraska Texas Oklahoma USC Ohio State Alabama I think one can argue for inclusion of some more teams, but I don't think any of those programs can be left out. Certainly OSU is a solid member of that list. I think the others are solid members as well.

Unfortunately, it looks like Purdue is holding up their end of the bargain.
NW is looking good but I have a bad feeling about the 2nd half. MSU by a FG.
I guess I'll have to root for scUM now since SC is already up 7-0

Well 2-5 is better than the 1-6 or 0-7 I was afraid of.

Cincydawg---That 'Elite Eight' list of yours is identical to mine; if I reduced that cluster of teams to 'The Magnificent Seven', I'd remove the Longhorns.

2-5 and with a few breaks could've been 5-2. Nebraska was a disappointment in the 4th quarter. Purdue v. Oklahoma State was destined to not be close. OSU81 wrote: Well 2-5 is better than the 1-6 or 0-7 I was afraid of.

True, but when have B1G teams ever got breaks in NYD bowl games?

I think it was just a bad camera angle. Does anyone have a pic of the side view instead of the above view everyone is complaining about?

The reaction on the sideline wouldnt have been what it was if it was simply a camera angle issue.
