GT - FSU Post-Game Thread

The Jackets struggled out of the gate but made a nice run to get back in the game. I got worried when they went down 5. But just like they did vs UVa this past weekend, they made some plays to get it tied up.

Should've been an offensive foul on that last sequence. Guy stuck his forearm in to Udofia.

Hate how this ended. Arg.

No clue why they let Snaer walk in for an uncontested layup. Hard, hard loss.

That was clearly a foul at the end.  The guy used his elbow to push off.  Good effort.  We're not quite there yet.

Why does Gregory continue to draw up plays for Udofia from the perimeter at the end of games?  That 2nd half falls squarely on Gregory's shoulders, just a pathetic half for the coaches.

Our excuse for Clemson was it's tough to win on the road in the ACC?  What is it tonight?

Pathetic.

Some acting by Udofia,, but still undoubtedly a foul on Snaer.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. As blatant as it gets. Tech got MAJORLY hosed.

The defensive awareness of too many of the players is awful.

Yep, and the announcer had the gall to say he was "screened" out of the play.

A few thoughts...

We lose close games and FSU wins close games. I'm getting tired of moral victories.

We were awful defending the pick and roll in the middle of the 2nd half.

FT shooting left too many points there.

The refs can suck it.

Udofia should have been called for a hand check on Snaer anyways. He was grabbing Snaer the whole time. Just let them play. Bad ending to an ugly game.

The officiating for this game was miserable. That last play was absolutely atrocious.

There may have been some contact, but I thought it was a bad time to go for an Academy Award.

Tough to win when no one on the team scores in double figures.  Hunt's poor stretch might have decided the game tonight.

Terrible shooting. And who drew up that last possession? Awful.

What was the shot by Mfon at the end?  Did CBG not realize the 3 Mfon banked in was luck, not skill..

THIS. I put this on Gregory more than the refs. He keeps going to Udofia for end of half situations with no set play, just Udofia dribble around and jack up a stupid 3. And it keeps NOT working every time. C'mon coach, how about some imagination?

On defense at the end, gosh, I wonder who's going to have the ball and take the shot?!? Blew my mind at least that they let Snaer shoot it. eek1 Mfon HAS GOT to be smarter than to flop like that, foul or not. Refs have been humping the team hard all game, you really think anyone is going to blow a whistle in the last 10 seconds?

This team is a head case sometimes for sure, but Gregory sure does shoot himself in the foot a lot.

Re: GT - FSU Post-Game Thread

Let's press him near mid court...awful idea.  He wasn't gonna give the ball up there.  Broke ankles, wide open lane.
