I would stay away. Far away...

I'd stay away from SuperThrive as well...

One that I use occasionally is NOG, Nature's Organic Growth, developed by someone at Clemson University. I don't know if it's the cause or not, but when I watered chile peppers with it a couple years ago, I had bigger plants than I'd ever had before, and it was loaded with peppers, something I'd never had happen either. Two years ago, I scattered the granules over the sweetpotato patch before planting and I had more sweetpotatoes than I'd ever seen before.

This is not an ad for NOG, but I do use it when I think about it...

I've never used SuperThrive, I did use vf-11 years ago because it was recommended by a local nursery for some reason and I don't remember seeing any big difference. I've not used NOG, but I definitely use humates in my garden, I buy the 50 lb bags. I added more to my vegetable gardens this year than I did last year and I have so many plant blooming already...really good stuff.

Nice links Chris...thanks.
