18-12... 8-10 conference... tons of HORRIBLE losses. Why do these so called "experts" have them in over Oregon or even Arizona?

I appreciate you leaving your hate behind for a sec...but Oregon should be in over the Dawgs.  Better down the stretch, better overall in the head to head (our blowout was better than yours lol), bettr RPI, better strength of schedule, better overall record, no 19 point losses to SDSU!  Still with all that sadi...both UW and UO shhould get in as I think the top of the PAC-12 improved a lot over the season due to Frosh and transfers..I could not resist a little jab though.

While I would stop short of definitively saying UO should be in over UW at this point, GG laid out a pretty solid case and there is one more factor as well. When you evaluate the conference, you have to take into account the unbalanced schedule. UW got to play ASU (10th place) and SC (12th place) four times whereas Oregon only played them twice. UW also got to skip the toughest roadtrip in the league this year (Cal/Stanford).

Northwestern has two losses against teams not comfortably in the tournament, Washington has three.

How can Washington get in with such a massive number of HORRIBLE losses?

Okay, so the Huskies just lost to a determined Beav squad...or should I say, nobody wanted to win. So many missed FT's by both Cunningham and Wroten at the end...that was some choke city. What happens now? Do the regular season champs get snubbed? And does the Pac-12 only get one bid? This loss looks really bad for UW, given that they lost the last two games of their season).

I guess it all depends on what shakes out in the other games this evening, but if the committee were to decide right now I don't think anyone would have a good shot at an at-large except for Cal.

If Cal loses tonight, then the Pac 12 will be the first major conference to ever receive only 1 bid in the modern era.

Where did Call of Duty go? His team chokes and he bails. Usual puppy mentality.

normal 12 year old mentality which is what the kid is.  Sad to make fun of 12 year olds.

UO also played Arizona once, and didn't have to visit UCLA. Take it all for what it is worth. I think UW makes it in barely, probably a play in game somewhere. Cal will get in as well, plus the winner of the Pac-12 tourney.

well, if you want to get technical about it, oregon not playing a mediocre ucla team and its dead-last crosstown rival a second time actually hurts oregon. i mean, i'd rather make that road swing than the bay area, no? you seem to be suggesting that oregon benefited by not playing the la schools a second time, which is ridiculous.

and we played the arizona schools in the desert... similarly, not getting them at home didn't exactly BENEFIT the ducks. i would have enjoyed that home sweep, myself...
