I was in school then. Difference is back then Oregon was expected to lose in football. We are giving away home games because we can't hit the broad side of a big barn.

A couple of years ago we would have had all sorts of free throws and won the game by ten or more.  The refs have been ordered to "let 'em play" and they have no idea which ones to call.

You get a grip. Were you there tonight? Probably not. I am not the only poster tonight upset with this performance. It was a bad display all around except for Kazemi. He is this teams MVP. We are still tied for first place which is a joke. Scoring 46 in this loss and 28 percent shooting is not deserving of a victory. This team deserves to be criticized tonight. This was not a college performance. ZERO point by our guards. Our supposedly best senior was not in the game tonight at all. This team is not ready for the tourney the way they are playing when they play like they did tonight and with Colorado. The game at UW was a good performance but this team is not consistent.
If this team makes the tourney it won't go far with play like tonight. If we can't win the big games at home that is not good.

I wonder why Kazemi doesn't get more press. He's such a great rebounder and he plays with a ton of heart. I remember a couple of times in the second half of last night's game in which a Bear beat him for a rebound, but he didn't give up and got a steal as soon as the Bear brought the ball down.

A lot of us are pissed at the results of the game. However, the results of the game are due to UO needing better players, you know, some who can actually shoot the basketball and make it from outside. There is no lack of heart on this team, however. The players play hard. Their record is indicative of how hard they play. If they had better shooters and guards who could create off the dribble and actually run the offense (not talking about Artis, obviously), the Ducks would be running away with the conference title. Altman has had great success considering the fact that this team cannot shoot consistently from outside. Your expectations are too high based on the talent we have at the guard position on the court now. Those who can play are either yooung or injured, or both. Altman will get his team there, just not this year with this team. Even id Artis comes back, I don't think we have enough fire power. Give him a couple more years and some great shooters.

No, I wasn't there tonight. I live out of state so I watched on TV.

If you think being in the building for the game makes it ok for you to act like a big baby on EDuck, then there probably isn't any point in anyone trying to talk you off the ledge.

Nobody is saying people shouldn't be critical of the execution tonight, but maybe one of these times you could actually try posting like an adult instead of throwing a hissy fit when the team doesn't give you the win you think you are entitled to.

Kazemi played harder than anyone and better than anyone. He has the biggest heart on the team. He is everywhere. He rebounds. Fights underneath. Makes most of his free throws. He was tearing up in the post game interview. I hope the team comes out fired up and takes Stanford to the woodshed like they did us in Palo Alto. This is the biggest game of the season right now and Oregon is in a MUST win situation to stay in first place going into the Civil War next week.
