wasn't like it was a double digit lead... we started slow and spotted them 6 points before rallying back to take the lead

I seriously don't know how we keep winning, except we play tough defense. We just don't have anyone who con consistently score. Just amazing and frustrating lol

Definitely deserved to lose that game. Multiple chances blown, Lloyd baited to doing exactly what cal wanted him to do. Very bad play all around.

Post-game, Altman:
- we shot too many 3's
- we didn't get the ball into the middle
- we didn't shoot FT's well
- Kazemi played a great game (18 rebounds, 11 points)
- we wasted a good defensive effort

You sound clueless.
Altman is a good coach, and twice the coach of Ernie K. Right now, he has no go-to guys. Singler can't get open and when he does get open, he can't hit clutch shots. Loyd is too short and has no confidence in his shot. Not sure if you knew this, but Altman can't shoot the basketball for his team. I have confidence he will get the players he needs to win. It takes time. He has had to use JC and transfer players more than he would like in order to compete. His team will get better and better as he recruits and coaches them up.
Yes, this loss stunk and was very frustrating to watch. In fact, I was down right pissed off. That being said, this team's record is better than it should be considering the lack of good outside shooters and clutch shooters on the team.

U r right. We deserved to lose that excuse of a basketball game. We were the first place team? Wow. Not playing like that down crunch in the season. Cal only 1 game back and they have the tie breaker. We CHOKEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! Can't beat CU and Cal at home. We don't deserve to be PAC-12 CHAMPS. Even if we beat Stanford and that's a big IF, we won't be ranked come Monday. Pathetic.

How many times in these close end of the game type plays has DA called a time out to set up a good play for his players. These boys are playing there hearts out just to be competitive. Give them a break.

It was 22-11...
Loyd just has to believe.
All Cal did was clog the middle and dare Johnny to shoot.
No one can get to this level and not make shots that he is missing. His defense is great. He is trying VERY hard.
A couple of years ago we would have had all sorts of free throws and won the game by ten or more. The refs have been ordered to "let 'em play" and they have no idea which ones to call.
If you think you are frustrated because we are losing our lead in the Pac 12....what if you were in school during the 0-0 OS tie of 1984 football season.
