I couldn't help myself so I read that thread, and after I had wiped away the tears with a kleenex from laughing so hard, I had to chime in on treeater's thread. Free entertainment at an affordable price.

It's true. I had to run into a Wal-Mart in Salem and judging from the Wal-Mart crowd Beaver Nation is a live and well.

It wouldn't shock me if people in Oregon (not hard-core fans) would cheer for the Ducks for football and the Beavers for baseball. Since football season is over and baseball is starting, more people wearing Beaver stuff. Not everyone attended OU or OSU, there are band wagon fans. Deal with it.

Some times I see posts like this and then read what the Beaver or Husky said and it is often over blown and I just shrug my shoulders and move on. However, this one was different. It made me really wonder whether the average IQ of Beaver fans falls somewhere between 60 and 70. Seriously, those were some of the dumbest, most uninformed and delusional comments I have ever seen. How does one make stuff like that up? Sad and desperate.

I was just at Disneyland for the 3 day weekend.
I was sort of surprised by how many Oregon O shirts, hoodies and hats I saw on Sunday.
I was thinking about it - was I only seeing the O because I was looking for it? So I started trying to find OSU gear.
Over the entire weekend, I saw literally dozens people wearing Oregon gear.
OSU? 6 people.
UW? 2
for whatever that's worth.
But I'm not buying this massive defection to beaver nation...
