Why would you want DeCarolis to fire Robinson?  I say give him a lifetime contract, just like Riley!  After all, CR is recently quoted as saying they have turned the program around in his tenure.

Yes, there is an entire menagerie of "people" there with all of the capacity for independent thought that evolution gifted to ungulates.

Back on topic, C. Robinson is the worst BB coach I have ever seen at any level. I don't know what they're paying him, but it's far, far too much.

No need to go all WilliamF. Buckley, Jr. on us. He merely expressed surprise that a school with the liberal reputation of UO would have someone express such an opinion. All anyone has to do is read the Woodshed to see there are many more who have a corner on the market of the "capacity for independent thought".

That he was surprised that conservatives have somehow survived the UO to the point of earning degrees is the least surprising thing in this thread.

That there are loads of low information types out there out who think the UO is a lockstepping temple of liberal orthodoxy is as shocking as is soccer players coming out of the closet. I encountered legions of these "deep thinkers" in classes.

They aren't used to having their worldview challenged, which is what makes it such sport.
