OAC changes mascot to Woody Woodpecker?

Someone over on pure hate said to compare the new OS mascot with Woody Woodpecker as far as simililarities. I tend to agree, the similarities are frightening striking.

They plan on dumping Benny Beav and the new Woody Woodpecker Beev will make a grand appearance at their spring game. I wonder what the fan reaction will be to dumping Benny. I mean dumping Benny for a guy in a tight orange/black spandex ape suit with a woodpecker head is alittle over the top? Robopecker will never fly just like RoboDuck bombed at Oregon.

I can hear it now from Mike Parker "What a gorgeous spring day it is here as Woodpecker nation witnesses the burial of Benny and the rise of a new more wholesome, pure mascot. Woody Woodpecker...uhhhh....I mean.....Woody, the mean beevur...."

The beevs spring game is on a Friday night and will be televised. I wonder if there will be any fans at the game to witness the unveiling of the new mascot. At least the fans would be guaranteed a victory if they do show up.
