Looks like Artis is still out

Looks like Artis is still out Post Rating (5 votes)

No Artis, no NCAA tourney IMO.  We really aren't a top 50 team without.  Not saying Artis is the best player on the team but he clearly helps with the offensive flow and less turnovers.

I'm not even bothered by Lloyd's play.  He's doing the best he can for a guy with no shot.  The rest of the team should have stepped up and they really haven't.

That's my basketball 2 cents worth..

It Appears that Artis... Post Rating (3 votes)

...is the most important athlete in Oregon team sports history. It's almost Dixonian.
Tacoma: Too close to Seattle since...forever

He'll be back next week.

All will be fine by pac-12 tourney time.

Hope you're right about this. The other DA is sorely needed, and without him, it's the NIT for us.

Could you bring back the bounce for some late season mojo?

They will be fine once he gets back... Post Rating (1 vote)

rather have him come back healthy then come back too early and hurt it again. Not a doubt in my mind that the Ducks could win the Pac 12 tourney with DA running the show. I agree it's been kind of disappointing to see guys not step up, but it's just like football. If your QB isn't good, your team's going to really suffer. Look at what happened to North Carolina last year in the Dance. They have a team loaded with NBA talent and they lost their PG and they lost soon after. PG's run the show, as I'm sure you know already. Great teams have great PG's

I wouldn't really want to see us go to the tourney without Artis. It would be like Thomas Hobbes' state of nature, "Nasty, brutish and short."

The Bounce is a dangerous tool filled with evil.
