At awards show this was his quote in beating out Poyer for amateur athlete of the year.

“I want to thank God, my family, teammates, coaches, and the city of Eugene,” Barner said. “Beat the Beavers at something again. Just playing.”

Did you know poyer is from a small costal town in Oregon and went to OSU and became an all American?
