We sit right above their section.  During the intros of the Utes they turned and faced us.  That's about it.  Either they are embarrassed with the chant or just not into it.  My point, very little action.

The Missouri game at home today on tv featured a loud group of students and what I heard was clever.  Missouri is below the Ducks in the standings.

SUCKS isn't effective.  It shows no class..........It just makes Oregon look cheap.  Utah may "suck".........Arizona lost to us so they too make suck...But we put them both in the same category before the game???...These guys are college students...  Sucks and air ball are two yells that are old and have never given anyone an advantage.  

Read what others have said in other postings....Annie had a good idea.......and PLEASE, talk it over with the guys who make the decisions.......

Incidentally, the Kiss segment was well received by the two Ute players who thought it was funny. (They showed two guys sitting on the bench after showing all of the  couples kissing.  The idea is they are expected to kiss.}

The originality and passion of the Pit Crew I'm afraid was one of the casualties of the move. Nothing unique. Nothing original.

Sort of like how they became the 57th student section in the country to adapt "Seven Nation Army."

The "Pit Crew" is nothing short of embarrassing.

I will give them credit for the "build a bonfire" chant, the "winning and you know it" is okay, other than that it's pretty much dead, a lot of the students just don't have much of a connection to the basketball team or the arena.  Too many Californians who have no clue to the history of Oregon basketball or the legacy from Mac Court, I know this from my experience as a student in the mid 00s.

If we care about basketball get the Pit Crew together and show some creativity.

OR.........do nothing.

We demand excellence from our athletes...  You know...Let's Do it.........
