Kansas
Is about to lose their 3rd game in a row...2 on the road, 1 at home...one to a team that is a worse loss than the Ducks have had all year. They're 19-4, 7-3 in conference (the Ducks are 18-5, 7-3) and the Ducks have the best win (Vs. Zona) of the two teams.
I totally bet all their fans are jumping off ledges and saying they are NIT bound right now.

LOL.
Yep. College basketball is tough business. The ducks will be fine. I'm not worried.

A good point was brought up on the radio this morning...
on the local "Sideline Saturday" show on 95.3FM ... which was if you told Dana Altman at the start of the season back in November that on February 9th his team would be 18-5 and one game out of first place in the conference do you think he would be terribly disappointed?
Yeah...things aren't *quite* as bad as some people are making it out to be right now.

Ummm...Kansas beat us, so that kind of screws up your whole "best win" theory, now doesn't it? --------------------------------------------- --- ntxduck wrote:

We are not one game out of first, unless we lose today. A win keeps us tied.

Re: Kansas
You can never tell with Beavs ;)
Someone like Benny would have trotted out some obscuring ranking to show that indeed Oregon State basketball is better than zona

Actually, that is a half game, but we have the tie breaker, if UA loses again. --------------------------------------------- --- UofODucksSpiritof76 wrote: --------------------------------------------- --- FirstDuck wrote: We are not one game out of first, unless we lose today. NOW we are tied, again, for first, lol. Just jerking your chain. Hopefully the team has figured out the reasons for their struggle. --------------------------------------------- --- UofODucksSpiritof76 wrote: --------------------------------------------- --- FirstDuck wrote: We are not one game out of first, unless we lose today. LOL, they don't call me Kreskin for nothing. BTW, thanks to the team for bailing me out.

Re: Kansas
Zona seriously lost to Cal at home? Wow...the tournament is going to be insane this year. Almost anybody can beat anybody at this point. Hell, a 16 seed like UNC Asheville could get hot and beat Duke at this point in the dance.

Re: Kansas
Not so hard to bealieve since Cal did beat Oregon which beat AZ:) I was pulling for Cal for some reason. Arizona has a nice game setting, but the fans are pretty tame for the most part. Mostly old farts there and not so many students like UO, Cal, UW, Stanford, or UW.
