Oregon now "On the Bubble" with a 9 seed per Jerry Post Rating (2 votes)

In two weeks we go from a 3 seed to a 9 and on the bubble. Just embarrassing the way the Ducks have finished the last two weeks. They look scared. Nobody, especially Loyd, wants the ball in the last two minutes.

Hopefully Artis comes back soon.  I think they can get the win on Saturday without him, but they'll need him for the Washington schools next week.   Still time to turn it around and have a really good season.   It's frustrating that all they needed in the last two games was one basket in the final few minutes and they win both of them.

the committee will take into account that we didn't have artis when we lost these games. If he comes back and we regain the same form as earlier in the season no reason we won't get a good seed.

Jerry has proven to be completely off on both his bball picks and his fball picks recently (he has Miami as a #1 seed over Indiana...yes the same Miami that lost to Florida Gulf Coast)

Lunardi is MUCH more accurate and has us right now as a 6.  Right the ship and no reason we can't climb back up to a 4 seed

Without Artis, this team looks scared, confused, and playing not to lose down the stretch now. It's happening far more often now, and it's a dangerous trend. They have lost their confidence, and no one wants to step up and be the go-to guy and playmaker in key situations.
The offense and guard-play is downright awful.
We are now a bubble team that is teetering on the edge of not making it in.
7 more games to go, and we need to somehow find a way to win at least 4 of them, or it's NIT time once again short of winning the P12 tourney.

Apparently the sky is falling. I didn't realize a team in second place in a power conference sporting a 19-5(8-3) record was a bubble team. Like Scott said, Lunardi is much more accurate and had us as a 6 after the Colorado loss and before the Utah win.

Washington won the regular season title and was in the NIT.  The Pac 12 is not a power conference.

In basketball Oregon beat Arizona which beat both Miami and Florida, so clearly we are the best team!
In football Colorado beat WSU which beat UW which beat Stanford that beat Oregon, so clearly Colorado is the beat team!

Fixed . . .

I don't think last year's records, RPIs or anything else about last season has anything to do with this year.

As an aside; we are now in 1st place due to 'Zona losing today and we have the tie breaker over them.

Just thought I'd point out that the Ducks won a game without Artis, Nostradamus.

Not everybody visits Free Throws. And not everybody reads every post in every thread to know what you're talking about.
