pac-12 network channel 420 and 421

pac-12 network channel 420 and 421
can anyone tell me what the difference is between channels 420 and 421 on the pac-12 network on comcast? i have direct tv at home, but watch the pac-12 network at work. i only have the very very basic cable setup so i get only channel 420. is 421 a premium channel or something?

Channel 420 is the Pac-12 Oregon channel (focused on Oregon sports)...and Channel 421 is the Pac-12 National channel (sports from the entire conference).

got it. that makes total sense. thanx 76!! is 421 on all comcast packages or is it for the higher tier packages?

I have a friend that works at the P12 Network in San Francisco. They're still working with DirecTV - but a deal probably won't be in place until late summer / fall at the earliest.

Right now there is now much difference from the regional channels and the national network hopefully they will really start working on this cause right now there seems to be no reason for the regional channels.

thanx guys. i asked because on the tv guide, it's always the same thing being shown on both channels, but this morning, 420 had a basketball game and 421 had hawaii vs usc in football and of course i wanted to watch the football game :-)

It happened last night and other times too. I look for Oregon basketball on the Pac12 Network Comcast 420, but no the game is on ESPNU which I do not get! Instead it is ASU/Cal or something not Oregon. Do they assume everyone has ESPNU? Instead I just listen on 750 am Jerry Allen and have the game tracker on for the score. I just will have to upgrade my cable plan it looks like since it is often the same now as it was before.

I'm glad that I don't have ESPNU. Otherwise, I'd have to watch the Stanford and Colorado games...

For some reason I don't get nearly as worked up with this team as the teams under Ernie Kent. The highs were higher and the lows were lower. This team is just steady as she goes. Once Artis returns I expect a more competitive team. I just hope it doesn't sink us too far and out of the NCAA.
