Nice job closing up the class and making it a very good class in the end.
Edit. Seems like a lot of UW discussion on this board considering the great class you got....

That jerk Marty Martindale won't allow recruiting talk in detail on this board. The pay board for recruiting was on fire today.
Truthfully, both school (on paper of course) did well. OS did too, for their standards. WSU, I have no clue. LA Coug told me it will lead to 10 win seasons.

You are right it is the duck typical reaction to huskie fans off season rheteric. You talk on and on about how we will fail and you are "back" then it doesn't happen. If you are going to talk sh*t A.) be able to back it up or B.) don't be surprised when you are taunted when your smack does not happen.

How many more times are people going to show up on a rivals board and go "oh looks like you can't stop talking about us"
I mean seriously why even bother? This is what happens on every message board in every sport across the globe. It's part of the fun.
On top of that, what is it that so impressive about being talked about on a message board? You still went 7-6 and lost the Vegas bowl. Who gives a sh*7 if crazyduck69 took 5 seconds to talk about you?

I came here to say congrats on a nice class. Seems like Oregon always pulls it off in the end and ends up with good classes. THEN I noticed a first page 90% full of UW topics, mostly drivel. That's it. Nothing more.

I'm not usually eager to act as the spelling police, but Sides, your usage is a ittle extreme....maybe "rederic" is a word I just haven't encountered, but I have occasionally come across "rhetoric".

Thanks for being classy and coming over to eDuck to congratulate the fans on the Oregon recruiting class. Unfortunately on both free boards, eDuck and Dawgman, the discussions get pretty snarky and since the two schools are big rivals, the topics often involve the other school.

Yes, it is a little uncharacteristic, but not so lately. There is a ying and a yang. This is yang to the Oregon talk that is so common at dawgman. Plus the fact that most of us are denied the opportunity there to reply to Oregon comments. It's the logical consequence of those factors.
And as Gordo said, recruiting isn't the intended focus of this board. I also agree that both schools did fine.

It will be a sad day when Ducks and Dawgs don't rip each other for their respective allegiances. Without rivalries...sports may as well be theater. Then again, who knows? Maybe people who like a Chorus Line truly despite those who like Miss Saigon.
