No the guy who beat you twice at Boise. hahaha .
How does poor little Boise beat Oregon with Uncle Phil twice?
How does poor little Boise completely shut Oregon down with your "greatest qb on earth" to the tune of 8 points.
Maybe, because of Justin Wilcox?

Masoli was deffo the greatest qb on earth. We all think that.

That guy from Boise has been shredded to death the last 2 times he's coached against Oregon. And "held" them to 38 points in one of boise's wins.

Good hire "THE DUB!!!"

Thats the guy you brought in to stop Oregon. Lulz.

Your head coach was fooled like a typical local newspaper comment section poster.

RE: UW...

Hahahahahahahaaha

I guess you don't realize that you need the players to be successful and that is what Tosh is doing right now.
Wilcox is an elite guy when he has his guys and hopefully this year or next year he will have them in place.
Questioning Wilcox is funny though. He improved this defense by about 70 spots in just one year. He is an elite D-coord, but even elite D-cords won't succeed without the talent. Check monte kiffin.

But I'm still wondering though. How does the great Chip Kelly and Jeremiah "criminal" Masoli and Legarret "cheap shot" Blount get shut down to 8 points against poor little Boise? Maybe Chip got outcoached. Hahahahahahahaaha

Re: UW...

Going by the eyeball test, the best team at the end of the season in the Pac10 was clearly Oregon.

In the Rose Bowl, Stanford STRUGGLED to beat an 8-6 Wisconsin team, unimpressive.

There's a reason Oregon finished ahead of Stanford in the final polls.

We'll see about Helfrich. The rest of the Pac10 can only hope Helfrich = Bellotti. But I'm hanging my hat on Helfrich > Bellotti, as MB isn't as bright as Helfrich.

Next year, Oregon will once again send true Freshman out on the field who contribute, while UW will have to rely on Sophomores and continue to complain about being too young.

Nice to have some Huskies stop by to banter with. Although, based on all of your comments, the ban hammer is probably just around the corner. Mods needs to at least lock this thread.

We suck so bad that we beat Stanford, the best team in the PAC. The Stanford you lost to and got physically beat up by. We don't measure ourselves against Oregon, like Oregon does for us. We measure ourselves against the best team in the PAC, which is Stanford, who we beat.

I would love another Bellotti at UO that would take you guys back to mediocrity. Bellotti=Helfrich.

We have a better recruiting class, which contributes to better depth. The difference between the two teams last year was depth, not coaching (Sark had NFL offers). Now we are slowly catching up.

Like I said, put Sark in Oregon and Chip at UW and the outcomes would not change. The problem is depth and talent, not coaching at UW. That is getting fixed. The difference between Sark and Chip is that, Sark's dream job is UW and Chip's dream was never Oregon. That is why he left you at the alter, which Sark would never do to us.

Also if we have sucked for 25 years, how come we have a Natty in that period and a Rose Bowl in this century. More Natty's than you in your history and equal amount of Rosé Bowl's in this century. I am happy for your last 10 years, but you will never have the tradition UW has, in having the 2nd most Rose Bowls in PAC history and being the 2nd best program in the PAC historically.

this is the SAME exact thing husky fans were saying 4 years ago after Chip Kelly was hired as head coach. And then after the Boise St fiasco they all promised we would never have a winning season again.

I Love reading husky predictions this time of year

If Sark goes 7-6 next year he will be out. That is the difference between UW and UO. UW doesn't accept perpetual mediocrity.

The crazy thing isn't that he went 7-5 that many times. It is the fact that you didn't even fire him and were happy with mediocrity. Doesn't bode we'll for Oregon if Helfrich takes the same path. You'll probably keep him for 20 years going 7-6 year after year. It's probably your worst nightmare.
