Doogman radio consensus today (1 vote)
These guys had me particularly in stitches today.
"UW is now recruiting HUGE DL and OL, as big as in the 90s"
"Oregon is trending downwards with USC, UW is competing with UCLA and USC, and to a lesser extent, Stanford, for Pac-12 titles."
Consensus was basically UW has past Oregon as a program that point because Oregon's recruiting class is mediocre and UW's is a monster. LMFAO.
It was downright hysterical.

What would you expect from the perennial "Off Season Champion" what is this 9 years in a row, they've declared themselves the winner?

Oregon IS trending down though.
We haven't win a BCS game in almost a month.
Washington trending up.... ffs. :)
They're flatlining at best.
See what I nuff said there?

Re: Doogman radio consensus today (1 vote)
Where to start with these morons (Grinolds, eklund, fritters)...
Uw ol recruits underwhelming Uw dl recruits impressive on paper, but...
Will hall stick or stay in Texas? Basham will not qualify Farria at great risk of not qualifying Mathis and qualls at some risk to not qualify Bryant borderline p12 recruit
2 p12 teams in preseason top 5 are Stanford and Oregon and both have been in bcs games in the last 3 plus years.
Ducks have 17 recruits and are ranked 16 by scout, huskies have 21 recruits and are ranked 12 (and have much more risk of kids not qualifying). Is the husky class better? We will see, but doesn't look like it by much on paper.
Oh yeah, ducks by 17 plus over uw for 9 years in a row.
These guys are delusional. :)

To be fair, the doogs are the best .500 team in the NW.
The symbol remains...

They have ONE O-line commit thus far, 3* from PDX. Yup, they're killing it on the O and D lines. Too funny.
Sarkingham will never understand that it starts with the guys in the trenches. He's too much in love with QB's, WR's and RB's.
Go Ducks!

Sark did win a Holiday Bowl, right? Lost a few bowls after that big win?
6-loss Sark, that's what we call him.

Re: Doogman radio consensus today (3 votes)
The Three Dooges continue to cater to their doog audience that unconditionally laps up their annual pre-season "we're back" campaign.
The Huskies are nothing but a mid level Pac-12 program and have been for a long time. They will always own collegiate footballs worst season ever, with their memorable 0-12.
Doogs are the most delusional so called fans in the conference. They're slow to realize that they're stuck with an irrelevant and forgotten program.
Bark for Sark!

Your team has spent 2 weeks in the top 25 over the last 11 years. They should take advice wherever they can get it. uwdawgfan7 wrote: Ummm,Sark has just as many "Nattys" as any football coach from Oregon so relax...until you win the big one, calm down with the advice.

RE: Doogman radio consensus today (1 vote)
Really?
They're using recruiting rankings to determine that UW is trending upwards and UO is trending downwards?
First off, UW has actually been considered as the better recruiting program quite often during this run of nine consecutive victories by the Ducks over the Huskies.
Second, it's pretty close right now. If UW loses one or two of their "soft verbals" and Oregon signs not only who they expect to, but a couple of other prospects that they are looking good for, then UO will be right at about or even surpass where UW is rated in recruiting. Oregon is currently ranked #16 and Washington #11. That's with the Ducks still holding quite a few spots they will fill by Wednesday, while Washington is pretty full up.
Third, Oregon has always shown that they coach up their players while Washington not so much. The same staff that has been in place at Oregon for in some cases 20 over years is still there. I don't see their development of players changing.
Fourth, Yes, UW "finally" upgraded Husky Stadium. It's about time, but even with that they are falling farther behind Oregon as the Ducks are in the middle of erecting even better facilities right now that will challenge any sports facilities in the WORLD, not just in college athletics.
Lastly, this has all occurred with Chip Kelly having his name blasted all over the sports media and by other schools recruiters about going to the NFL for months. Not to mention that the supposed "sanctions" that Oregon is going to be hit hard by.
Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if Sarkasian is not invited back to coach at UW following this coming football season.
So, I'd have to say that this is all just a bunch of wishful drivel from homers in the Seattle media.
Go Ducks!!!!!

Normally (2 votes)
Normally, when I read a post like this, regardless of the poster, I'd say the summary is influenced by bias. However, given what the cast of characters have stated/posted over the last several years I tend to believe your summary. "lol"
Let's recap UW the past 20 seasons.
Overall record the past 20 seasons - 121-119-1 (10th in the Pac-12)
Outright conference titles the past 20 seasons - 0
Shared conference titles the past 20 seasons - 2
Top 25 rankings the past 20 seasons - 3
Seasons with 0, 1 or 2 losses the past 20 seasons - 1
As much as we joke about 4-loss Riley, you have to go back 12 years for UW to do better than 6 losses in a season.
Sark has not proven he will take UW to the next level. This is where you hear "oh, but we were 0-12 before he started" but none of those players are around and Sark still managed yet another 6 loss season.

RE: Doogman radio consensus today
Fact of the matter is Oregon now has way more coaching stability than Udumb does. The chances of Sark losing his job are extremely high and you can almost guarantee it to happen with a 10th consecutive loss to Oregon with a few other losses sprinkled in.
Btw I think Oregon will end up with a better recruiting class than Oregon and fill the areas of need very nicely unlike Udumb. Ever heard of an offensive and defensive line? I also can't wait to see if some of these guys they've recruited qualify because not too long ago Mathis had "no chance" of making it in.

How many Pac-12 titles does Sarkingham have? That's the more pertinent question. Doog gonna doog.
