Re: Unconventional continuity…

I don't know what has happened to Haley.  I was willing to give him a pass in KC due to its dysfunctional atmosphere with FO and all.

However, going to the Steelers and watching him call plays for them this year eek1  I understand now why my friends that are Steelers fans want to run him off.  Truly his play calling was on par with Mike Miller's here except he had more talent to work with.  Run, run, pass.  What I saw from the Steelers O this year is not at all what I remember him as here in AZ.  I'd love to know why the conservative and predictable play calling this year.  I do like his detailed approach to planning, but his abrasiveness could help some players and turn off others.

Don't know how to guarantee we got the Haley of old because if we get the Haley of the last 2 years, it could be a bumpy ride boys and girls.  I like other options personally.

A second chance would presumably straighten out any wrinkles—you'd think.  I think he's probably got that head coaching je ne sais quoi.  He'd certainly be interesting in that Sean Payton kind of way.

Haley.....no way!eek1 As a once upon a time athlete its amazing that an ahole coach looks great when they are winning and surrounded by talent...When you are losing it is mutiny amongst all. Players tollerate BS and dont tollerate BS. Show me how a CEO performs in times of crisis and that will tell the character of that man..Haley comes with alot of BS
BE MORE CONCERNED WITH YOUR CHARACTER THAN YOUR REPUTATION. YOUR CHARACTER IS WHO YOU REALLY ARE, AND YOUR REPUTATION IS ONLY WHAT OTHERS THINK YOUR ARE.....

I'd like to see Horton, Haley, or Lovie Smith get the job.  Don't know anything about that Denver dude.  I think Horton might have the greatest upside.  Lovie Smith is proven.  Haley can be plumb loco, and that's cool, too, from an entertainment standpoint.  My vote is for Horton.

Dang, love your wording. Denver dude also I don't know much about. Haley hopefully does not become our hc. Horton is the pick.

Denver dude is Mike McCoy.  He tailored an offense specifically to take advantage of Tim Tebow's (limited) skill set last season... after six games.  This year he's switched on a dime and worked seamlessly w/ Peyton Manning.

I'm a huge Bronco fan, and while I do like the Cards, I don't want McCoy going anywhere.

Another good option for the Cards would be Kyle Shanahan, the OC in Washington.  The guy created an offense for RGIII that is pretty awesome.

In other words, we need a REAL offensive "genius" and not the Ken Whisenhunt "genius" variety.

Not a Shanahan fan. Bob Griffin would have done just as well with anyone else as oc.
