Obviously no surprise. Wonder if Grimm, Miller, etc. got the axe too.

Not sure the team even flew them back to PHX as they were an embarassment to the Cards and to themselves with the coaching performance they did this year

Re: Source: Cardinals fire Whisenhunt, Graves
It just had to happen. Too bad about Graves, he had 15 years w/ the club. But I'm afraid his fingerprints were on too many bad personnel decisions. Anyone surprised by this isn't paying attention. Whis was reputed to be an offensive genius, and post-Warner has presided over an anemic offense. The last three years has to mortally wound his reputation, given that fact. It's not even a question of whether he'll be a HC again. The question is... who would hire him as an offensive coordinator?

I hope the Bidwill's know what they're doing. They don't always leave me with the impression that they do.

Wellfed...Are you telling me the last 60 plus years of ownership havent left you with a lasting impression? I do think Michael knows what he is doing...time will tell.

I think Michael Bidwell knows what he is doing!
He is certainly not his father.
The risk of failure is great, but the risk of not making the necessary changes to improve ones self will surely spell disaster!

I was impressed with Michael today. Ole' man Bill never would have done this. Too much money. Bill was a cheap skate and frankly a lunatic. Michael must take more after Mom thank God !

The old Cardinals were continually paying coaches they'd cut loose, weren't they?

I'm pretty sure Buddy Ryan got paid for a year he didn't coach. Joe Bugel and Denny Green definitely did.
