Re: 2013 Home Schedule
Really like this schedule - certainly not favorable in terms of winnability but should make for some exciting games and big wins, assuming they actually fix the OL/QB situation this offseason.

Re: 2013 Home Schedule
It is hard to imagine it being worse than this year........but then again every year the situation seems to get worse and not any better. So what do you think the solution should be this year?
The risk of failure is great, but the risk of not making the necessary changes to improve ones self will surely spell disaster!

So what do you think the solution should be this year? I think Graves will be gone and deservedly so. But I think Whiz gets one more year, so expect more of the same. I don’t see any way how the offensive issues are solved in one offseason – especially the o-line. That's a pretty tough home schedule and with SF and Seattle playing at an extremely high level, I’d say the chances of Arizona making the playoffs are slim to none. Bottom line is with Carroll and Harbaugh in this division, it’s going to be hard for the Cards to compete unless they get a coach who’s on their level. And don’t forget that St. Louis is going to keep getting better under Fisher. The Rams turnaround this year has been almost as impressive as Seattle’s emergence.

Re: 2013 Home Schedule
What specifics would you give for Graves deserving to be released, Brad? FA, draft, player discipline?

RE: 2013 Home Schedule
Draft, free agency, coaching turnover - everything that leads to not putting a consistent winner on the field. Realistically it wouldn't have to even be a consistent winner, just competitive with winning seasons three out of every five years or so. The Cardinals don't exactly demand excellence.
But over the past three years there have been too many personnel mishaps and blowout losses, in my opinion. Solid franchises / coaches will lose their fair share of games and take their lumps in a handful of blowout losses but there have been a lot lately. 15 losses by 14 points or more in last three years and seven losses by 21 or more points.

Re: 2013 Home Schedule
I'm not too enamored with the Cardinals FA acquisitions, but… I am pleased with the direction this franchise has been going with their draft picks. Kerry Rhodes has been the one lone bright spot in recent FA's for the Cards. I believe the jury is still out on Kevin Kolb. I'd personally like to see him restructure his deal and stay with the Cardinals organization. Picking up a potential FA like Alex Smith is my usual preference for QB acquisitions. Hopefully if Whiz leaves Ray Horton will be the next HC. I really think they're close to being a good team right now.

Re: 2013 Home Schedule
Rhodes might be the only decent FA pick up...Colledge filled a hole....I wouldnt be bringing Kolb back. People have told me Hoyer is a good QB given a sysytem that plays to his strenghts....Square peg in a round hole isnt WHUZs system!...The first two rounds have been good but from where we have been slecting that should be a no brainer...I too believe they are about 4-5 players and a HC away from being dominant

All are overpaid and were poor additions. Whiz, Graves, and the whole offensive staff must be booted out!!! We should not take a chance of losing Horton or Kiem. They are the only bright spots in management and coaching!!!

Re: 2013 Home Schedule
Man, I see the O'Brien Schofield's and Sam Acho's and think we're doing a fine job later in the draft right now.
