Fan of NHL?

I have no idea why, but i'm always curious as to know who likes/dislikes which teams in which sports. So excuse me if I get on your nerves by doing so

What team do you follow in Ice Hockey? what teams do you also like?

I like the San Jose Sharks, mostly because I had a Jersey when I was a kid, but i also don't mind the Hurricanes, Ducks and Leafs.

I can't stand Sidney Crosby, or the Flames.

I am cheering for the Capitols because AO seems like a cool guy. Not a fan of any NHL team though as I don't watch the sport much except for the playoffs (Regular season hockey puts me to sleep)

Yeah Ovie is a nut, I was watching this thing on him on ESPN (some E60 Capsule or whatever?)

That goal against the Coyotes was not human...it was russian

He loves speeding in his car that only him and 5 or 6 other people in the WORLD own. Seems like a nice guy though

Yea I saw that too.

He hangs out all the time in the public in DC. The other day him along with some other cap players were hanging out at an athletic store wearing their jerseys. AO and some of the other cap players are pretty down to earth from what I have seen which is why is why I hope they win the cup. (yea I know thats a retarded reason but oh well lol)

RE: Fan of NHL?

Caniac since 2000(when I first got into hockey),and untill I die

I treat the Canes just like the Panthers,The only other teams I like are the ones that are in our rear view mirror and out of our way!!!!!!!!!!!

I do respect New Jersey though, they have a playoff team every year, and that is something to be respected no matter what sport youre in

by the way, it has always puzzled me, that people who watch MLB baseball and NBA Basketball, 2 of the most sleep inducing, irrelevent events in the universe(right down there with Golf and Tennis),say that Hockey is boring, wich makes me think those who dont like it,dont understand it, maybe becuase its just a faster game, that you dont even try to keep up with it, things can change in the blink of an eye in hockey, there is no established possession, players are on a offensive and defensive mindset at all times, there are plays being made every 60 seconds of every 60 minutes in a hockey game, weather it be,blocked shots, checks, clears, hits, saves or goals , I get so wrapped up in the game, I am too nervous to even eat, my heart stops every other second, and I cant relax at all untill the game is over, that is hardly what I would call boring, but the NBA on the other hand, even the highlights on ESPN are boring,"Well,Kobe Bryant and Lebron James  made some baskets, long story short, they won 350-341" who cares ?

oh wait, there was some ruckuss the other night about a few of the players hitting each other, and getting thrown out of the game,oh how exciting

The NHL needs to be like the NFL IMO.

1 game a week, having 3 or 4 games a week or whatever it is, is ridiculous. You lose track of everything, Although the one thing i LOVE about NHL is they allow fights.

That is the best rule ever.

Love the NHL, but I feel like hockey is a game that just loses something on TV. Live I think it's far and away the best sporting event to watch.

Hurricanes, one of the best young teams in the league.
Welcome to the stink, Panther nation. 2010 Panthers = rock bottom, nowhere to go but up.

I have been to multiple Caps games and while its definitly a lot more exciting in person its still not even close to the best sporting event to attend IMO.

There are those of us, on record here, who hold true to the Carolina soil..and now that the 'canes are showing what "moxie" is all about, it's time to stand and and cheer for their heartstopping games against Jersey ( my hometown) and the Bruins.

Watchout Pittsboig.
