New GM is showing his value already.  He seems to be going through all of our contracts and taking an objective long term look.  He has been very smart to keep the public voice out there saying we can "find a way" to keep our key players.  I can see him adjusting all of the key player contract this year and next to make them work best for Team and players. 

None of our players with the big contracts can say they can't afford to throw some back.  Almost every one of those contracts was high end for thier position.  He is trying to shape for the signing of Cam and Kracken in very near future. 

Draft is deep in most of our positions of need.

I don't see us letting Gamble go until June 1 cuts.  If we do that, we will be able to split his cap hit over 2 seasons.  If we cut him now, all of it will hit us this year.  Everything I have read points to Gamble being gone.  The only way we keep him is if he is willing to take a pay cut and I don't see it happening.

BTW, not sure if anyone posted this.  Olsen restructured.
