Let the excuses begin!
Atl blows a 17-0 lead in the first quarter- now it's everyone's fault BUT theirs.
You heard it here first.

Greg Hardy should invite Matt Bryant over to watch the game with him.

RE: Let the excuses begin!
49ers did everything they could to lose the game, yet the Falcons didn't capitalize. Went down 17-0, missed a game tying field goal, or major points at that point of the game of it wasn't a game tying fg (can't remember), fumbles at the 1 yard line. No excuses from the Falcons are feasible.

Ryan played poorly in the 2nd half when they needed him the most. Two critical turnovers and got shutout.
Their defense wasn't great to begin with.

Their defense wasn't great to begin with. Yeah it may be time for them to look for a new QB. Matt Ryan is the new Tony Romo.

I really don't think Ryan is as bad as Romo, and I appreciate his use of time on the plays...he's quick to release. I did question that delay of game SF allowed to happen. Still, everyone here was happy with the outcome and added to the fact we beat them, makes the EOS better!

RE: Let the excuses begin!
Look at Ryan's post season numbers, they tell you all you need to know.
Best receivers, arguably, in the league and he still finds a way to create turn overs.

Falcons played a whale of a game today. I really thought SF would come in and just kill you all.
Julio is a Super Star in the making.
My hat is off to you all for getting this far.

You are right...But believe me, the absolute unreal ridiculous amount of luck that sh*tty team has had all year definitely outweighs their misfortunes of tonight... Come on, down one point on your own 1 yard line with 45 seconds to go and you heave one up 50 fckn yards?? Pure luck! I hate the Falcons and that stupid look at "Matty Head Lice's" face...The only bad thing that didnt come from this game was the fact that he didnt completely destroy his shoulder when he got hurt... Prayers for the fan who got stabbed...very unfortunate

This is especially true when you consider that he just now started getting production out of Dez. The point is they both choke in the playoffs. Matt is the new Tony Romo.

Re: Let the excuses begin!
Dont think Ryan blew this one. He's nearing elite status in my opinion. Definitely stepped up his play this year.
Romo, the choke artist, is in a category of his own when it comes to blowing games.

Re: Let the excuses begin!
I hate Ryan as much as the next Panthers fan, but this one wasn't on Matty. I don't know how anyone can blame him - 30/42, 396 yards, 3 TDs with 1 INT.
You have to put it on that porous run defense. When SF got their heads out of their butts and started to run the ball with Gore in power formations, the game changed. SF controlled the clock and limited Matty's opportunities.
