former Panthers DE Al Wallace say
“ @ JayMaalD: @ frankgarcia65 McDermott” No. The players have to take ownership. Fans always blame coaches. Too hard to blame your heroes.

Kepickle we can't afford to bench Thomas or Norman. We don't have the talent to replace them. LaFell made a costly mistake, as did the Panther in ever drafting Fua.

Norman has been surprisingly good this year, benching him is just a stupid idea.
I blame the DL for getting pushed around. Re-sign Dwan, draft Star or Hankins.

The panthers need to quit with that "Diamond in the ruff" crap. Every player they draft late, or cast-off from another team is not going to be a quality starter. Look at SF they are full of first round picks.
My comment from earlier.

How long did they have to suck to pull that off?

He plays where he's told, which is in a position not to get beat deep.

You're right, play tight cvg on a bigger, Pro Bowl WR and just hope he misses the ball when the QB is on the money.
He's a rookie, how much freedom do you think he has?

I blame the DL for getting pushed around. Re-sign Dwan, draft Star or Hankins. I agree and what bothered me was the way they kept getting snaked on the run and took too long to fix it. The hard count bit them like a HOS squad!

Run D had a lot to do with "replacing" Ron with Fua.

I'll still say our 1st & 2nd pick should be DT & OL

I forgot to record this game, but to date I haven't seen anything about Fua that keeps him around after watching the games over and over.

Normally I would agree, but with some of the WR's that will be available in the early 2nd I'd love to get a real playmaker. If one isn't available then there should be a couple of good OG's. kepickle wrote: I'll still say our 1st & 2nd pick should be DT & OL

Once in a lifetime? No, but he's been compared to Suh and Ngata.
I don't see any "can't miss" players in this class. I'd love to sign Henry Melton from the Bears in FA, but he'll get a pretty big contract.
