RE: Honey Badger
Draft a guy that won't ever see the field because he's suspended for possession? Uh... no thank you. It should be a cold day in hell before we draft a guy that is that broken by his addiction. He was a Heisman candidate this year if he stays on the team, and LSU a Championship contender. Not only did he let himself down he let his team down as well, and he had multiple chances to correct this problem. He's a lifetime loser, and we're trying to change our loser culture. Let Dallas draft him.

I'd roll the dice on him.

RE: Honey Badger
I like playmakers I'm sure he will drop in the draft possible 3rd-4th round. which won't be too expensive to take a chance on.

He's projected as a 4th right now.

RE: Honey Badger
Or we could draft aguy who knows how to tackle, make plays on the ball, and actually catch a punt or kick off and get positive yards. There isn't one guy in our secondary who is even close to be talented as he is. ROLL THE DICE!

If he is there I say we do it. I have lost faith in Gamble.

Re: Honey Badger
We should pick lower than 4th (what someone said he is projected to go.) NO WAY should we trade up to get him (or anyone for that matter). Trading up has seldom worked for us.

One of the most overrated players in college football. Small and slow IMO. Having pros all round you definitely helps a guy like this.

RE: Honey Badger
Slow? Did you see him blow by people on returns? The kid is a playmaker. Jon Beason was said to be slow too.
He wouldn't be a CB, he'd most likely project as a S.

RE: Honey Badger
a 5'8" safety? Only one I know that has panned out is Bob Sanders who ran a 4.4 and could bench 400 lbs. This isnt that guy. I also guarantee you Badger is a 4.6 guy at best in combine Jackofalltrades1977 wrote: Slow? Did you see him blow by people on returns? The kid is a playmaker. Jon Beason was said to be slow too.

RE: Honey Badger
Troy Polomalu is 5' 10" Haruki Nakamura is 5' 10" Ed Reed is 5' 11" Jarius Byrd is 5' 10"
2 inches, immense athleticism and a whole heap of talent and playmaking skill. I also found a 40 time of 4.51, which is more than enough for me.

RE: Honey Badger
a 4.51 time reported by the school is different than a 4.51 at the combine. Rabbit Waddell had a sub 4.3 time at UNC. Notice there was not one guy listed at Badgers height. Reason being there arent any safeties besides Sanders at that height. Jackofalltrades1977 wrote: Troy Polomalu is 5' 10" Haruki Nakamura is 5' 10" Ed Reed is 5' 11" Jarius Byrd is 5' 10"

RE: Honey Badger
Yeah board is kind of slow lol. I do agree that we need playmakers on D. I feel if we could draft Star we would have one of 5 best DLs in football Jackofalltrades1977 wrote: We'll just have to agree to disagree.
