This is one we can't afford to lose, we should win games like these.

I see us winning this and the Raiders game.  That'll put us at 5 wins total on the season.  That leaves a lot to be desired...  All in all, a disappointing season.  We'll get a 5-10 draft pick which should net us an immediate starter and impact player.

I agree with MadCard, but that is what always scares me...the ones we are supposed to win!

A chief player killed himself at the practice facility. It was their starting ILB Jovan Belcher.

Hate to say it, but I doubt we see a very focused Chiefs team tomorrow.

Good luck tomorrow guys. I live in Charleston, SC so I follow CAR some. Hope we win this won for Jovan. What he did wasn't the right thing, but he was a young man troubled. Im not excusing it just saying he was a young man only 25 that had some issues going on. Just remember that before you blast him or KC. Good luck fellas.

Re: Panthers @ the Chiefs

I ponder the mentality that takes another human's life over a dispute, which usually is soon settled, and then escapes the realities of one's actions. To take your own life has issues, to kill another...remember Rae Carruth...is troubling.

I ask our team to win tomorrow because they played better, smarter and harder, but hope the Chiefs, should they win, od it for the same reasons not some memorial to someone who made life meaningless for personal or mental issues.

I do pray for the child and families of both victims.

A loss tomorrow for the Panthers will be hard to accept from a logical perspective.

What is worse - is that if we win tomorrow - its like we are the bully kicking the kid that is already lying on the playground dirt. No good feeling in that either.

"bully kicking the kid" for winning is ludicrous. These guys are pros and know fully well you play to win, and sadly we need to learn the "crush" mentality for any reason.  If you think there is no feeling "good" in whooping these Chiefs, I would truly be surprised Cats. I had almost gotten to the point many make here lately, let's win to get high draft slots! This is one we need to win because we have coaching, protection, defensive run stopping, turnover deficiencies that warrant correction and new morale boosting.

I'll take the win and not feel the least bit bad! Then, I step on ants and bugs in general!

eek It is good to have you here, but man you lost me there. I meant I do not have much sympathy in my heart for enemy teams, cuddly pets and insects that hamper my home. Anything to do with 3-8 records is purely your own...but I won't call us a bully when we win.

Lets get this win. If KC was playing the Patriots, the coaching would show
no mercy. They never do.

Re: Panthers @ the Chiefs

i totally agree with this.  i feel bad for what happened.  but that does not mean in any way shape or form that there should be any form of mercy.  it is all about the W.  always is.  people get and lose jobs over the W.  what happened was not in anyone's hands/control.  but what can happen is.

PS: i thought i quoted ghetty's post for this response.  but seems like i messed up.  this is in response to what ghetty posted earlier.
