Billick picks: Fox and his Broncos

For some odd reason, I see us beating them in a shock & awe. I hope these pain killers keep working!

Hi Kepickle,

I find it rather strange that your link takes you to a site that shows the Broncos dominating in almost every statistical category, but then you say that you think you will take this one.   I think that is wishful thinking.

Yes, I know that on any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team.    So, sure, it is possible you could win.     Nevertheless, the Las Vegas oddsmakers are not betting on your team.     If we come out flat as we have done on several occasions this year, you have a chance.    If we play to our potential, there is no way you win.

It's a matter of trends, we've come together as a defense in the last month and our O us going back to what made it 7th overall last season. We're also at home with the chance to make a statement.

RE: Broncos-Panthers game thread

Broncos fan you are clearly another NFL fan who only watches sportscenter to gather information about other teams. On paper at 2-6 yes we look pathetic. If you dig a little deeper broncofan you will see which teams we've lost against, how we lost those games and also how we have improved in the last 3-4 weeks. we are not as bad as our record indicates. Our D has been top 3 in the last three weeks, and we really shut down RG3 and the "high powered" r skins offense to 3 points with some bogus calls leading to chance after chance for them to score in garbage time last week. Our offense is starting to heat up a bit as well.

Because I feel our DL will take control of the Game & heck Manning can't throw on his butt

Re: Broncos-Panthers game thread

Man I would love for us to beat Denver, seriously.  I made a pretty sizable wager with a co-worker / die-hard Bronco fan before the season started.  I never would have thought back then that Manning would be as good as he is at this point in the season.

Hopefully it turns out that we play a hard fought game and capitalize on our chances..we will see.

The Panthers will for the first time be wearing black jerseys with black pants.

DEN has only given up 10 sacks, whoever is on Clady is really going to have to bring it.Manning is accurate and gets the ball out fast.Need pressure.

Miller is very good on defense so he will need to be accounted for.

Also watch Holliday on kickoff he burned us early in pre season.

Not much on the first drive.
Lot of shotgun,3 receivers again no power formations/TE's.

RE: Broncos-Panthers game thread

Cam needs to take the majority if snaps from under center, there's a reason EVERYONE says that.

Re: Broncos-Panthers game thread

Holliday did it again.I'd probably just give him the Hester treatment and kick it away/out of bounds now plays like that kill you.

Re: Broncos-Panthers game thread

The routes take way too long also. We have nothing quick and short for defenses to hold back on.
