New site for Southern Sports fans

New site for Southern Sports fans 

Still will post over at FOX insider and talk smack with our rivals, but it's clear with all of the new changes, we also need a place of our own more than ever. I had this forum software lying around, and decided to launch it as:

biguglysports.com (link goes to forum while I set up the rest of it)

The plan is to start it off just a place for us Southern fans to congregate and easily navigate, but maybe eventually make it a national thing for fans of all walks to have discussions.

There will be many many changes as I get it all set up. Come on over, sign up and say hello. I definitely want to give my friends here and a few other places a heads up to come get it going.

Just yesterday I was looking for the Falconsnest site to check if you guys were there maybe but couldn't find it anymore.

When our board here will be gone we can all meet on this new board biggrin I will sign up when I'm home.

I just got the following email from Publisher Support nationally.

 

"After speaking with many of you, we have made the decision to make the Scout.com site available starting later tonight. We plan to start making DNS and other configuration changes around 11 p.m. ET. 
 
We remain committed to the launch of FOXSportsNEXT.com and will work with you to develop a phased launch plan that works for everyone after all of the technical issues are addressed. We will work closely with many of you to make sure we have the best product possible."
 
Given the situation the past four to five days, I think this is the BEST possible solution for the short-term. We're right smack-dab in the middle of the football season, and this is a very inopportune time to be locked out of the premium board.
 
So please be on the look out for a switch back to the old format/site/message board late tonight/early tomorrow (Tuesday). Obviously we will be back here at some point in the near future, but not until things are worked out and we're ready to launch with more certainty and confidence.
 
Please join me ASAP when we get back to the new board as I can't wait to begin sharing with you and answering your questions again. To be honest, I miss it. Hopefully you do too.

Great, glad that we'll still have our home here, but still would like to have this spot for Southern fans as well. I've got some friends and folks from other sites who can help make for another crowd there to chat with (and also to give a new home to canefan's Falcons Nest, which I think doesn't exist anymore).

BTW, didn't realize that I had moderate new users. You all should be good to go and post now.
