Re: "GET THE F*CK OFF MY FIELD!", he explained.
His performance is better - quite a bit better as his experience and confidence grows - but he's not "changed". This is who he has always been. For those who remember, he was brought into his first college game as a skinny sophomore at Clemson, and got lit up with a massive hit that knocked his helmet clear off. (you tube it) Initial thought was that he was out for a few games if not the whole year.
He was back in a couple plays later.
Later in his college career, he had a fracture in his lower leg about half way through the season. His coach asked him if he wanted to have surgery, which would be better for his career and long term prospects, or just hobble through the pain. He didn't hesitate, chose to play and hobbled through that year with the fracture, leading his team to an excellent season.
He's a genuinely nice, upstanding young guy. But he's one tough, competitive SOB.

It's been his ever since the first 62 yard TD pass to Jenkins. It was confirmed to be his in the Chicago game when he entered the huddle with :06 on the clock and told the team "We're GOING to win this football game."
I <3 Matt Ryan.

Did you guys notice during the game when Mr. Blank was on the side line and Smith appeared to be talking to him? They were a few feet apart and Blank had a look on his face like...... what the hell you asking me for? Hilarous!

I 8==> Matt Ryan. you are sick. I don't care. I'm a Ryan lover, and if he needs a good knob polishing, well by god, so be it. 5 seasons in, he's already Atlanta's best QB of all time. I can't believe I wanted Dorsey, I'm on the Ryan train. He's a beast, he's a boss, a leader, talented, hard-working. Best thing to happen to this franchise since its inception. Love 'em.
