Julio Jones
What was wrong with this guy today? He was playing with zero intensity and looked completely unfocused. He wasn't fighting for the ball there was no burst or suddenness in his movements and he was making rookie mistakes. Is he fighting the flu? Was he out partying all night? Just an off game?
They even showed a shot of him on the bench and he looked totally out of it. Whatever the issue is the Falcons need to figure it out so it doesn't happen again.

Guys, I love Julio but he was not on top of his game today. This is not a criticism of the guy, I'm just wondering what was wrong because he wasn't his explosive self. He just didn't seem to be completely into the game today.

Shut down by a rookie 5th round pick from a D-2 school.

RE: Julio Jones
JJ is a beast . He was a decoy and still made a play when we needed it. Panthers were not smart enough to figure it out and even if they did, they still cannot hold JJ even if he has one hand.

He had one catch on five targets, yeah- we never figured that out.

Re: Julio Jones
Ummm...I may be wrong but I don't think anyone is saying Julio sucks. However, I don't think any of us can argue that he had a pretty bad game. I got home by the third quarter and that missed catch on the sideline was pretty bad. I was even screaming at the TV on that one. He did have one good catch at the end but he wasn't his dangerous self today. I'm OK if it was because of an injury but we shouldn't pretend that he was having a highlight day either.
Now if his bad day was because of the Panty's defense then there's a bigger problem....
EDIT: of course, for what Julio didn't do today, Roddy was right there mopping the field with the Panties. Ain't it great to have 3 awesome receivers (i.e. TG) so that if 1 is off his game, the other 2 can step up to beat the other team!!

Julio was wide open and it would have been a TD if Ryan had kept the ball in the field of play instead of leading him right into the sideline. Seems like Julio was getting double-teamed and the Falcons were content to throw the ball to White. I think he had only 2 targets...until the Panthers took the lead. Then they targeted about him about 4 or 5 times because they needed a big play. I wish they would have gotten the ball to him more earlier. At least a screen pass or reverse.

RE: Julio Jones
He was healing his lacerated hand...merely a decoy and still had an impact. Because he is THAT good!

The mfker ripped the webbing between his fingers, but was out there helping us win, I dont give a flying fk if he catches 14 balls in 2012, his very presence on the field is helping us win every fkng week ...
