Gatom - Coming out of the closet.

Gatom - Coming out of the closet.

I think it's time to come clean. I believe what I am about to say is true. It didn't use to be this way but now I think it is after watching this week's games.

I think I am more a fan of the NFL than I am the Falcons. There I said it, and I can live with it.

I love the NFL, baby! It is just the frickin best. If I had a choice to just watch the Falcons but not any other game, I would say NO! I would rather watch more games than less games.

Now if I had one team to watch it would be the Falcons. They are my favorite team. But I am a true fan of the NFL. I loved watching Brent Farve in GB. I loved watching the Dolphins beat a jets team with way better stats but one. (Stats again are for losers).

I have some serious man love for the NFL baby!

Re: Gatom - Coming out of the closet.

The NFL is a joke of a league. If you barely touch a quarterback named Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, you will get flagged for roughing the passer.

Roger Goodell has screwed us NFL Fans over. If its not broke, DON'T FIX IT.

His agenda is just money, nothing else. I mean, why did he have to change the great tradition of the draft being on a Saturday. He has created so many rules that have just wussified the league.

Other than that, I enjoy watching other games purely because of fantasy football.

The Officiated is absolutely dreadful as well.

I agree that some of the rules now are way too leniant, and will hinder defenders trying to sack a QB. I did not get to see the Ravens Patriots game, but wish I had. I have not been able to find any links to the hits called on Brady. I honestly think that the QBs are being protected far too much, but also I believe that there will be tweaking to the rules as time goes on.

That being said I also think it is a good thing that they are paying more attention to concussions now. Helmet to helmet hits should be fined, but I don't think they should be called as a penalty.

I'm always wondering how those rugby guys are surviving. We have a team close to my town but heck no I'm not going to play for them!

Offensive player of the year ~ Congrats to Drew Brees

It is amazing how some people think. I mean really. Just when you think you started a very positive thread some hopeless soul with lots of issues just throws up all over it.

Man I am bumed out now.

I hate football too I guess. Whatever no matter my team dies tonight a sad death.

Looking for a bridge to jump off of.............Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeee! ;)

Don't forget to bring a towel, everytime you jump off a bridge you might get allllllllllll wet.

In seriousness though, good football is good football no matter whose team is playing it. We all go watch football movies right? They're generally not about the team we pull for but for the love of the game we still sit down and watch. There is nothing wrong with loving the sport more than the team playing it. Enjoy it!

Don't get me wrong, I love football. I just don't like how the new rules have altered it and made it worst. I love watching my Ravens play but the league, that used to be once great, is getting ruined by Roger Goodell. He favors certain teams like the Cowboys and Steelers.

Still alive but my Falcons are headed for a non winning 7-9 season.

Oh well maybe one day we can have two winning seasons in a row. Ryan looked awful last night. That talk how bad Vick threw the ball, wonder if they will comment on Ryan. Vick never missed guys that much!

Just keeping it real. Ryan sucked last night worst than Vick ever did as far as hitting open receivers. Just awful, but will folks call him out for it?

I love me some Matt Ryan, but good lord he was bad last night, looked and played like a scared little girlie.

I don't understand the philly statement, I know it was an insult but I really don't get it. Philly fans are passionate so I guess you are right because i love me some Falcons football.

And guess what? Mark Bradley has an article out blasting Ryan,...it's one thing to be what you are but another to be completely ignorant on top of it all.

I love the emotion! Thanks!

Hey that interception by Grimes #20 or whatever his name is was insane!

Anyone see that? He jumped what 8 feet in the air?

Is that even legal without a flight plan being filed first?

I love any player that can do things I only could dream of in my younger playing days times.

I love super quick super fast super springs in the feets kinds of guys, black white green or orange.

My favorite player ever is Larry Csonka. I love that he always moved the pile forward. ALWAYS!

Hell yes. I love the Saints' story. Katrina was something no one will never forget and I think it is great healing for the city to have the Saints bring everyone there together.

Great story!

NFL is so cool!
