Hard not to laugh at the Browns...again

Hard not to laugh at the Browns...again

According to the National Football Post, "some around the league" believe the Browns may try to trade Brandon Weeden.

Per NFP's "insider network," the "belief" is that the new braintrust of Joe Banner and Mike Lombardi "don’t think much of Weeden." It's hardly breaking news that Lombardi wasn't a Weeden fan during his NFL Network days, but there still haven't been any concrete reports the going-on-30 NFL sophomore is on the block. In any Weeden trade, the Browns' best hope would be a mid-round pick.

Wasn't he JUST a 2nd rounder?

nope not a 2nd rounder....

he was....

a 1st rounder.  They used our first round pick to select Brandon f'n Wheedon who by the way is 3 years OLDER than Matt Ryan!!!

Brandon Weeden was such a bust pick. I mean he has a great arm, absolute Cannon. Maybe on the right team (great OL and deepthreat receivers) he could be good. But face it there's a reason so few QBs don't get drafted high when they're that old.

They took another step back by replacing Holgren with Lombardi.

Thank God I'm not a Cleveland fan.

It's apparent you don't follow the Browns. Joe Thomas is an all pro tackle, Alex Mack the center has been to a pro bowl and Mitchell Swartz the RT was graded out as one of the best rookies and linemen in the NFL. Also Weeden was misplaced running West Coast offense. He will be in a vertical passing game this season!

This forum is as pathetic as the Atlanta fanbase.

I've got news for Mr. Santayana: we're doomed to repeat the past no matter what. That's what it is to be alive.

Hard not to laugh at a franchise best known for massive choke jobs in the playoffs. Seriously, how are you going to call any other team out after blowing big leads twice this postseason? That's as sad as not being able to sell out home playoff games, the other thing the Atlanta fan base is best known for.

START WINNING.  NOW.

Hey inbreds, you need to get off your sister and explain to "Matty Ice" how not to get his arse kicked in the big game.

The only thing that chokes more than your team, is your mom during hog callin' at the fair.

Cleveland chokes more times than not EVERY SEASON and their fans think they have something worth defending.

Joe Brown is retired, so are the Browns chances of being relevant this decade...or the next.

The name is Jim Brown. You should probably know the name of the greatest RB of all time before trying to make a credible football take.

Joe Brown?  Who did he play for?  Are you referring to the comedian Joe E. Brown?
