It was a great game.
I want DeAndre Hopkins if he declares.
Once again the stubbornness of Les Miles leads to a bowl loss. Imagine if he was start enough to get a decent offense.

Haha...congrats Mez!! What a great game. I thought Clemson was toast in the 3rd quarter...great comeback.
Also happy that my Jackets finally ended their bowl skid. Felt good to beat USC!! Man Kiffin is a terrible coach.

Mez- what can you tell me about Hopkins? Do you think he'll declare for the draft? Worth the 14th pick overall?

RE: Great win for clemson last night
He's definitely coming out.
He's got great hands and is deceptively fast. He runs sort of bow legged so it doesn't seem like he's moving that fast, but he always seems to be open and runs by DBs. He is a great athlete. Was projected as the 2nd best cornerback coming out of high school, but wanted to play WR. Also was an all state basketball player and played a year here before deciding to focus strictly on football. Hardworking clean nosed kid. I like him a lot, but I'm always worried about my bias so if it were us I wouldn't want to take him in the early rounds. It will all come down to his 40 time.

He looks like a poor man's Julio. Doesn't have quite the size or speed, but looks to be a very good athlete.
The Panthers need a compliment to and replacement for Smith- from what I saw against a very good D/secondary it looks like he has that kind of promise.

Is UGA's QB draft eligible/declaring?

Jackofalltrades1977 wrote: Is UGA's QB draft eligible/declaring? Definitely draft eligible, and Tony Dungy actually said that he'd take him with the first pick if he was the Chiefs. He's of course overstating Murray's prospects because his son played ball with him in high school, but there's no doubt that Murray's grown leaps and bounds in the SECC and bowl game to show that he can show up for the big games. I'm no longer as convinced that the kid is soft, he has all the tools if he can keep his head right. If he declares, it will only be because it's such a weak QB class. Otherwise he might need another year to really improve his draft stock, and he just seems like such a mama's boy that he'd choose staying at UGA over guaranteed money. So no, you're probably stuck with Scam one more year

Lol, I love Cam and think he'll have an even better season in '13.
I don't know much about Murry, but the fact that he won in the SEC carries some weight with it. I wouldn't want to be in the Chiefs position honestly. Smith, Barkley both have a ton of flaws, but KC is desperate for a QB. I've seen people mock LT Joeckel to them, but if they resign Brandon Albert they won't need LT and he's pretty good, top 10 IMO. Do you take a chance and "reach" for Murry or do you go with a freak D guy like Jarvis Jones who looks like he is scheme diverse.
If I'm KC I'm making calls to SF to see what they want for Alex Smith.

murray had a great year almost 4000 yards and 36 td's if i were him i would leave but he wants a natty and a heisman if he comes back look out in 2013 Jackofalltrades1977 wrote: Lol, I love Cam and think he'll have an even better season in '13.

What are his chances of a Heisman if he stays? He wasn't really in the running this season and Klein, Menzel, Clowney will only get better.
I admire achieving goals, but he could really benefit from declaring this year.
