Congrats to Ryan, Tony G and Julio!!
On being selected to the Probowl. Unfortunately, they'll be unable to make it as they'll be busy winning a Superbowl, but a nice honor anyway. No defensive players, but that's alright because everyone knows they're much more dangerous as a group under Nolan. Rest of pro-bowlers can be found here |

So what do you guys think about Roddy getting snubbed for Julio? You knew they weren't gonna select both of them (Roddy's gotta be a top alternate though), but I guess they recognized that it's Julio that the defenses truly fear.

Jones over White? Don't see it.
Panthers got 0 and the Chiefs got...5?
Not saying the Panthers had much of a chance with some of the well known names, but we had a couple guys play great all season, like both DE's.
Peppers and Saturday were name recognition.

Panthers I think deserve serious consideration: Johnson, Hardy and Kuechly.
Thomas Davis probably won't get mentioned in Comeback POY.

for the D, I think Humpty and Spoon had a shot at making it this year had they been healthy for 16 games, but since both have missed significant time it was a no go. Also, gotta think DeCoud has a shot at being named an alternate, but us going to the Super Bowl and him being unavailable will probably hurt his chances.  |

although I think Roddy had the better year, I'm glad Julio made it b/c it's just another flag to shove up the Brown's ass. Wish they'd come back over and start some more trade threads. Those were fun.  |

I disagree, VJax had better stats than both White and Jones and didn't get in. He also has a lesser QB and O supporting cast.

What happened 5 years ago has nothing to do with it. Had Brees made it it would have been solely on name recognition. His love for personal awards and interceptions will have to do.
