I wouldn't be upset. But I think we'll take Jones or Eifert with our 1. I would not hate Lacy at all. Falcons have a lot of holes that need to be plugged and not a lot of picks to do it.

Walter Football has us takign Montee Ball in the 3rd and I wouldn't hate that either. Bout the only thing you can write off the Falcons taking in the first 3 rounds at QB, WR, C, LB, DB, and the obvious kicker and punter. I would be shocked if they took any of those guys. My guess is their first 3 picks will be a combination of a OG, DE, RB, and TE. Depending on who's on the board of course. After that I think we'll look at DBs, other OL, other DL, and maybe some special team guys.

we are not taking a TE with our first pick, Zito.  don't buy into the "experts."

TE in the first would be an awful waste

I guess it depends on whether you look to fill needs or take BPA.

I doubt we will. Personally I think we'll take Jones and then our line next year would be

LT - Baker
LG - Blalock
C - Konz
RG - Jones
RT - Svitek

Or something like that.

But you never know, maybe they want to make sure we still have a great receiving TE? I dunno.

If Gonzo does retire then Eifert would be a great pick to keep with your current offensive philosophy.

Personally, after knocking the crap out of Ryan this season, I hope you don't address OL, especially with the emergence of our DL.

I like your first pick, but we really need an OG there that late, maybe Chance Warmack - Bama?

How do we look free agent wise? Seems that I read last year we had sevral coming off the books that would allow us to do more in free agency?

Any input?

Warmack won't drop that far, I doubt he's there past 20.
