Giants Game
Big Blue fan here going to the game on Sunday.
Normally we take MARTA but we are going to have to drive this time. Any suggestions or tips on which lot to use? Is security screening as bad as I've heard?
My $0.02 on the game. Just like the playoff game last year, depends on which one of our teams shows up. I don't think it will be a close game but who knows? I could see Eli havingh to get into a shootout with Ryan.
Good luck, hopefully no injuries.

Re: Giants Game
Does winning the game have any influence on home field in the playoffs? Will either/both teams play main players?

Gatom wrote: It matters a little more for the Giants, but really when Jan. comes no one will care about this game, both teams will be playing. OK, I looked at the standings and Atlanta has a 1.5 game lead over San Fran. It's a little too early to start resting your starters. I'll be pullin' for ya in the playoffs...... BTW

Re: Giants Game
I think we both need a W.
Falcons need to shut up the "I told you so" bandwagoneers and get some confidence back.
Giants still have Jerry's Kids breathing down their necks and if RGIII can play the Deadskins may stay on a roll.

Re: Giants Game
I wasn't "raging on". I know teams and fans at the close to the end of the season will rest their main players. I also know the Falcons are clearly the best in the South this year. I was just asking how important this game was to the team. Gatom wrote:
...so rage on!

Re: Giants Game
how true. A team wants to walk that fine line of going into the playoffs "hot", but healthy and rested. Even if you do lose to the Giants you will have a bye week and have a home game unless the Falcons totally fall apart the rest of the season.

Re: Giants Game
with the close games the Falcons have been winning, a blowout would be nice.

Gatom wrote: It's cool, your a good dude. I would like the Falcons to win out in the regular season, but more I want them ready to win a frickin game in the playoffs. Cmon Gatom, you know you'd love us to get some revenge on the G-strings. But more importantly, I do agree that the most important thing is to be ready and be healthy for the playoffs, but rest can be taken care of with a couple more wins before week 17 or a Niners loss... Just as importantly this week is to get some of that confidence back, because falling flat would be every bit as bad as not being healthy for the playoff run.

RE: Giants Game
Giants bring a LOT of heat up front on D... their DBs are rather suspect, but they can wreck your gameplan if you allow them to pin their ears back and target the pocket. One of the more physical teams on the sched. and they are dangerous as most of y'all already know.

RE: Giants Game
I think the Giants win because they have to and the Falcons are soft.

Re: Giants Game
What happened to the DirtyBird's ? what's below one dimensional, that's where you will find the Falcons Offense.
Granted, the Giants haven't been great at defending big plays, vie the pass, but they will pick you off too...I feel a five INT game in the plan if the Giants get up early...after this week, the Giants will have played the other three Division leader's, they are two- for- two, they key...how will they Giants handle the Dome.
The one team I don't want to see the Giants play on the road.

RE: Giants Game
Pats beating the 9ers ISN'T a given by any means. This Giants game is a bit of a showdown... Falcons need this game to instill a waning confidence after letting a Panther team mouth-off in the press - and then back it up afterwards with a decisive victory. Road trip to Detroit and a physical home game with T.B. to close out ain't no automatic cakewalk either. The LAST thing ya need is to stumble into the playoffs by thinking these last games don't really matter relative to the post season. I can assure you the coaching staff won't have them looking ahead after last Sundays embarrassment.
