RE: What Julio Jones means to Cleveland when he isn't on their t

Not having a QB, OL, RB and D plays a part too.

They had much bigger needs than a WR.

It's a dead roster spot if you don't have a QB or running game or another WR/TE to draw some of the attention away from him.

The AFCN is a defense-heavy division with already established powers & the Bengals aren't the slouches they've been historically either.... Browns with the 2nd youngest team in the entire league will undoubtebly take their beatings before they develop a winning identity, IF they do.

Before y'all attack me I'M NOT a Browns fan per se.

And they filled them with what? Weeden, Little and Trent Richardson (okay, the last one is great, but a RB isn't going to do that much when you're always playing from behind in this passing league).

They play their cards right, and they could have ended up with Julio and RG3 instead. Yes, they would have given up a ton more picks, but it's not just coincidence that Washington is fighting for a playoff spot with much less talent outside of QB. No doubt that a combo of RG3 and Julio could cover up a lot of weaknesses, and Cleveland's D really isn't that bad right now.

As it stands now, they had to blow another 2nd rounder for Gordon to make up for how worthless Little is, and if they don't get it together in the next couple years, then Weeden is going to be over-the-hill and regressing by the time they do.

Browns fans are delusional.  Not only do they already think Josh Gordon and his 36 catches for 650 yards and 5 TDs are better than Julio Jones, but it isn't even a debate to them.  They just take it as fact.  Already better than Jones and probably better than AJ Green and possibly Megatron.
