Love the avy (I'm a longtime Paul supporter myself), but what are referring to when you say Dr. Paul told you so?
Not to run a corrupt Massachusetts liberal over the one true conservative in the race?
Not to cheat, screw over and ignore the Paul supporters if you want to win swing states?
To represent the will of the people, not just special interests, which could have gained many of the 14 million voters who stayed home this time?
If they don't run Rand Paul next election, then sorry, but say goodbye to the Republican party having influence. There are an increasing amount of folks from all political stripes who will no longer tolerate the hijacking of our political system by the corrupt and wasteful.

Pubs are losing millions of votes on the social issues. Until that changes, the Dems will stay in office. I do not think the Dems will pull us out of the recession.

Can't let people get high, can't let queers get married, can't let women artificially abort rape pregnancies, can't let our kids learn evolution. The Republicans have good fiscal policies and TERRIBLE social policies. They're going to sink on them because they're too stubborn to realize it's not the 1950's anymore. In today's world, Dick Van Dyke isn't a sitcom about a husband and wife who don't sleep in the same bed; it's a sex act. The Republicans are getting what they earned. State-sponsored Jesus in our schools and bedrooms but never our wallets. Libertarians all the way.

Gatom's not a libertarian, he's not endorsing Ron Paul. He hates all that liberty ****, just his taxes thankyouverymuch.

That and stop with the warmongering imperialism, stripping of liberties, bowing down to big interests, dangerous policies that create a boom/bust economy, rather than a robust free market, that contributes to the shrinking of the middle class through inflation. That'd be a good start, but I'm not holding my breath.... Though maybe once people realize how fooked we are, they might start to get it.

Re: Gatom
Fk em all, neither the Dems or the Pubs have any answers or agendas other than to perpetuate their own existence ....we better do SOMETHING before our money becomes worthless and we have to carry it in wheelbarrows to go and buy a loaf of bread ....that is how the Nazis got started .......in the coming decades it wont be about money though, it will be about about food ....and bullets .......those things are going to be the new currency .....

One theory I have is that the republicans wanted Obama to win so they weren't left holding the bag when things hit rock bottom. My more sinister theory is that they really didn't care who won, because it's really just 1 party now anyhow... The only marked difference I could find between Romney was that he was slightly more likely to be against Romneycare that he invented.

I'm just sharing my opinions here. Your posts don't lead me to believe you're very socially liberal. You support criminalizing cannabis, you have a bleak outlook on the impoverished, and your signatures often express the most extreme characterization of a quote or situation that has become the hallmark of modern republicans.
I don't understand how stupid the Republican politicians can be... They have one job to do: quit talking about rape. And they fail miserably at it!! How hard is it to not talk about rape? If someone asks you a question about rape, the answer is "We all know rape is terrible," and move on. That's it. Done. Boom. As a libertarian, I expect both Republicans and Democrats to do the wrong things half of the time. They are inconsistent ideologies about the size of government. Republicans used to favor federal fiscal restraint but invasive social regulation. Democrats used to favor social restraint and invasive financial regulation. Now though, Republicans are as irresponsible spenders as Democrats are; and Obama's DOJ has been hostile to social issues. Neither party really cares about anything other than reelection.
I'm sorry if you don't like my opinions or my assessment, but they didn't just come to me. I sat and thought long and hard about different issues and morality and justice to come the conclusions I have.

Whatever, matters not. We have 4 years of BS ahead. People ranting on issues on a message board makes those people kind of dumb as well, so......figure it out. We were going to have 4 years of BS ahead either way...

You can stop right there. Thats it in a nutshell. No party will take action that would be detriminal to the reelection campaign. I think this thread needs to be closed. Usually politics are in some other forum or section.
